Mini-D’s Entry Form
The organizers of the GLR Dressage Rally wish to give unrated and D1 members the opportunity to
begin the rally experience on a slightly smaller scale. This is for pony clubbers who are too new,
young, or inexperienced to compete, but are eager to participate in the rally.
The 'Mini-D's' will have the opportunity to:
 Assistant Stable Manage in conjunction with a rally team, but on a more manageable time
basis for these young riders - several hours on the first day during turn-outs, horse
inspections and the preparation for first rides. Additional time as appropriate for their
age/abilities and as mentor’s time allows.
 Supervised by mentor C level pony clubber at all times while in the barn / with the horse.
 Shortened turnout inspection
 Riding in a Mini Dressage Test of their own on the calmest horses, as offered by other
clubbers in their club in the rally. These will be 'lead line' rides, or assisted by a nearby
'guardian angel' (the rally rider or owner of the pony).
 They will help to prepare their horse for the ride, and do a supervised warm up
 Participation ribbons awarded
 Mentors should be a minimum of 16 and C2HM (contact organizer if questions)
 Mini D borrowed horse may only ride 3 rides. (competitor turnback prior to mini D ride)
 The fee is $20
Mini-D’s and their parents must follow all rules. Appropriate dress (footwear) always expected.
