Hiring assignment – Project Proposal As part of our hiring procedure we would like to ask you to prepare a short project proposal for the open position. The aim of this project proposal is to see in which area you would be interested and could see yourself working in, as well as your ability to plan and coordinate a project. 1. Background Information Based on our mission and our responsibility for managing Maastricht University’s sustainability portfolio as well as empowering students and staff members along the process, every Green Office project coordinator is expected to run his/her own projects often supported by a group of volunteers. For every project it is important to know the university context, official sustainability goals as well as potential stakeholders when initiating and coordinating a project. As such, the following documents and sources should help and guide you in this process: UM Sustainability Vision 2030 UM Sustainability Roadmap 2030 Sustainability Policy 2014–2016 Annual Plan 2015 In addition, you can find further publications, ongoing projects and other general information on our website (http://www.greenofficemaastricht.nl/) as well as in the slides used during our hiring information session.
