Please join the Guelph Hiking Trail Club Saturday, June 13 2015, for this one day hike. Hike
occurs rain or shine.
Meet the bus in the Short Stop plaza 90 Gordon St. Guelph (corner of Wellington St.)
which is beside the Guelph Covered Bridge for a 9:00AM bus departure (please arrive by
8:45am in order to check in).
The bus will take us to the West Montrose Kissing Bridge and from there we will hike back
to the Guelph Covered Bridge, a distance of about 23.8km, walking along the Kissing
Bridge rail trail and Guelph City trails. Hikers may accompany GHTC leaders traveling at
moderate or fast pace. Paid pre-registration is required for participation in this hike.
Registration of $10 covers the bus from Guelph Covered Bridge to start point at West
Montrose Kissing Bridge, refreshments at two checkpoints and a Bridge to Bridge badge.
Participants may drop out at checkpoints and will be driven back to Guelph Covered
Bridge.
Bring your own lunch and drinks to supplement the snacks provided at the two
refreshment stops, as there are only a couple of small stores along route to purchase
food.

Register early as once bus capacity is reached, hikers will be placed on a waiting list.
