Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change under the aegis of Centre for Environment Education nominates Gwalior Glory as one of the Top 20 Best Schools For Paryavaran Mitra School Puraskar and Glorian Muskan Agarwal (class IX) is selected among 10 Best Students of the country for Paryavaran Mitra Student Puraskar – 2014. Harsh Goyal of class X and Shriyam Bansal of class 5th (Bronze Medalist) brought laurels to school as they participated in National Fencing Championship (25th to 28th February 2015) and Youth National Fencing Championship (1st to 4th March 2015) organized at Nasik. TIPS FOR STUDENTS 1. Be impeccably dressed. Do not give a chance to be pulled out for faulty grooming. 2. Obey with a smile. 3. Shun lies. 4. Avoid giving excuses. 5. Respect elders and teachers. 6. Maintain personal hygiene. 7. Be regular in your work. 8. Pack your bag according to the time-table the previous night, before coming to the school. Shoes to be polished and uniform to be ironed and hung the previous night. 9. Don’t procrastinate studies. Start preparations from day one. 10. Converse in English at all times. TIPS FOR PARENTS 1. Inculcate the habit of getting up early and getting ready for school in time. 2. Send your ward to school with nourishing, wholesome food. 3. Make it a point to attend the P. T. Meet to keep a track of your ward’s progress. The attendance of the P. T. meetings will be marked. 4. Ensure that your child reaches five minutes before the given time at the bus stop. 5. Syllabus of the I Unit Test will be given by the end of April. Prepare your ward accordingly. 6. Fill up “My Page” and “Medical Profile” in the students diary 7. 8. 9. along with P. P. size photograph as soon it is issued and return it to the class teacher duly attested. Note books to be pasted on the edge with the prescribed colours Hindi – Yellow, English – Pink, Maths – Orange, S.St/E.V.S. - Blue, Science - Green. Kindly label the belongings of your ward to avoid inconvenience. Please keep all the circulars and worksheets send from the school in a folder/ file. Summer break : 10th May to 30th June. School reopens on 1st July 2015. Saturday will be off for Classes 1st and 2nd. For Classes 3rd to 5th, timings on Saturday will be 7:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Summer Uniform Note : Parents wanting to purchase a new set of uniform should buy the changed set from the market. The sample of uniforms is displayed on the Uniform Display Board at school. (Kindly refer the school diary for the details) Kindly note- – 1. Parents to read the diary carefully before calling school for any clarification. Please follow all the rules and regulations mentioned in it. 2. Mothers make sure you pack sumptuous lunch for your child according to the lunch menu along With chopped fruits to eat after P. D. A. period or in the bus. 3. G. K. and Computers for all the classes and Sanskrit for class 5th will not have Terminal Examinations. They will be evaluated regularly through Class Tests. 4. Art and craft will be evaluated through the class performance, no term examination will be held. 5. For examination pattern, kindly go through the school diary. 6.
