An ideal opportunity to meet other parents/carers. Under 2’s A group for children between the ages of one and two years old. Early Years workers will provide support and guidance on child development. Create your own child’s scrap book, full of activities and learning carried out in the session. This is an ideal opportunity to support your child’s learning through play and exploration. Living in the UK Stay & Play with focussed activities and fun crafts for parents and children who have English as additional language Under 1’s Nursery nurses provide health advice and support within a relaxing environment. An ideal opportunity to meet other new parents and for your child to start socialising from an early age. Play and Chat A language and communication programme to help with your child’s speech and language development. We will encourage children to learn through play and show you how you can support them at home. Childminders A Stay & Play session for Ofsted registered childminders supporting early years children with their learning and development. Other Activities Breastfeeding Group Informal group with a local breastfeeding support worker and other mums for help and advice. You can also come along before your child is born. GroBrain Short workshops held in an informal, relaxed and baby friendly environment. Aimed at parents with children under 1 years old. Learn about baby brain development, “tuning in” to your babies signals and cries, the value of baby talk and practical ideas to continue at home Pattern Changing Group facilitated by BCHA. Please ask a Family Support Worker for more information about the course and referral criteria. Parenting Puzzle - Parenting Puzzle courses - because being a parent isn’t always easy! Referral is made by our Family Support team. Please speak to the Children’s Centre or your Health Visitor for more information. Bambeenies - A fun sensory learning programme for babies from birth to one year and their parents.
