To assist with a smooth implementation of changes, please see the enclosed overview and screenshot detail of changes that will be included in the release. Processes affected by the release are as follows: Password and User ID Users will be prompted to change their password every ninety (90) days. We encourage users to change their password the next time they log into MyMedTox and then change every ninety (90) days when prompted. MedTox will assign a unique user name at the time of new user set up. User names will not be in email format. Note that existing usernames in email format will not be changed. Order New Test Screen Previously on the Order New Test screen, the account number field was listed first. With the new release, the account number field will be listed after the donor information. Internet Explorer Compatibility View Settings longer be required and the user must remove medtox.com from Compatibility view. For users who do not have access to change this setting, an IT representative may be needed to make the change. Collection Complete-Entering Test Results Prior to the release, when an instant testing device test was completed the following link appeared: Enter the test results for this order. After the release, a collector will access the link to enter test results on the left navigation pane by clicking on Specimens to Test. Editing Orders Collectors were not previously able to edit orders. After the release, the collector may edit an order by accessing the order through the Scheduled Collections page by clicking on Edit. Prior to the release, the MyMedTox system required the user to add medtox.com to their Internet browser’s Compatibility Mode. New Process The Donor information is listed first Page 2 of 5 Internet Explorer Compatibility View Settings Currently there is a setting within Internet Explorer that must be turned on. With the new release Compatibility View Settings will need to be updated. Updating Compatibility Mode 1. Open Internet Explorer. 2. Click on Tools, Compatibility View Settings. 3. Highlight MedTox.com under the Websites you’ve added to Compatibility View. 4. Click Remove then click Close. Page 3 of 5 Collection Complete-Entering Test Results If your account is set up to enter instant test results in eChain and you complete a collection currently, there is a link to enter test results on the Collection Complete Page. Now all specimens that need testing will be located on the left navigation pane under the Specimens to Test link. Current Process Click on the link provided to test the specimen right after the collection. New Process In the left navigation pane click on Specimens to Test and choose the specimen you will be testing from the list.
