WELCOME
Especially, if this is
your first time here,
we want you to
know that you’re
very welcome.
Children’s Church memory verse for May
A handy reminder of Children’s Church memory verse this
month: Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life.
No-one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6
Whether church is a
familiar place or not
– you can relax and
just be yourself.
We’re so glad you’re
here.
Exam time
Many of our students will be studying for and sitting exams this
month. Please remember them very especially in your prayers.
Please let us know if
there’s any way we
can serve or help
you.
Pre-service prayer meeting: We meet in the lounge from 10:00-10:20 to commit
the day to God. Hope you can make it – it’s a brilliant way to prepare for our
worship service.
Crèche & Children’s Church: We’re so blessed to have so many infants and children.
On Sunday mornings there is a crèche (0-2 yrs), as well as Scramblers (3-4 yrs.),
Climbers (P1-P2), Trekkers (P3-P5) and Xplorers (P6-P7). [For our US friends, P2 = 1st
Grade, P3 = 2nd, etc.]
Young people: On Sunday evenings, our youth group, Ascend, meets from 6pm 8pm. Check out the Ascend Facebook page to keep up with the news.
Freely Bin: As part of our regular weekly rhythm of giving to God, we take in offerings of
non-perishable food items that will be distributed – in partnership with City Church – to
the needy in Aberdeen. Information sheets and shopping lists are available in the foyer.
If you love and follow
Jesus, but have yet to be baptised as a believer, perhaps
May is the time for you! Speak to Martin or Scott.

For prayer – Kintore church plant

the date for the first of our prayer evenings.
Kerusso Trust
Jonathan would like to extend his thanks to everyone for their
support and prayers during the recent 6 week Kerusso Trust
speaking tour with Connex Ijalasi. Jonathan is returning to
Malawi from 22nd May – 16th June, teaching in Learn2serve bible
and ministry training workshops, launching a new group in a
remote district that is only accessible by 4x4 vehicles. Please
pray for the effectiveness in teaching, protection in travel and
for Ruth supporting the work back in Aberdeen.
