CV2 News 4U March Issue 2015 Is Spring Break here yet? Spring break is like the trailer for the movie (summer break) that is going to come soon afterwards. While it is only one week long, it is a much needed break to refresh for a lot of students. As there are many events going on all around Texas during this time, we encourage everyone to enjoy this break responsibly. Frontier Fiesta is almost here! The University of Houston Cougar Village II 4873 Wheeler Street Houston, Texas 77004 Have any comments, suggestions or concerns regarding the CV2 News 4U, Email Us! Frontier Fiesta is the University of Houston's oldest and proudest tradition. Established in 1940, it began as a festival to promote the University of Houston when the University first moved from downtown Houston to its present location. Scheduled to take place March 26-28, the event will include live concerts, variety shows by student organizations, carnival booths, a barbecue cook-off and more. Location: TDECU Stadium Don’t forget to apply: Every year, the Frontier Fiesta Association gives scholarships to deserving incoming freshman and current UH students. These scholarships not only reward academic achievement, but also recognize outstanding efforts in community service. http://www.uh.edu/fiesta/ Helpful Numbers!
