SHINGO LEADERSHIP AND
ENTERPRISE EXCELLENCE
The Master of Business Administration
with a specialization in Shingo Leadership
and Enterprise Excellence creates value for
business professionals by giving them the
knowledge and skills to leverage the principles
and behaviors of enterprise excellence as part
of a strategic, focused approach for achieving
sustained business results.
The Shingo Model™ has been developed and
refined at Utah State University over the past
27 years and is an internationally recognized
standard for enterprise excellence.
The Shingo Model™
Our MBA program utilizes the Shingo Model™ to help students learn a new
way of thinking about value creation and what differentiates organizations
that have experienced sustained improvement and consistent delivery of
success to their stakeholders. The competencies learned in the Shingo
Leadership and Enterprise Excellence specialization courses represent a
highly desired set of skills. MBA students who develop proficiency in the
principles of enterprise excellence and the Shingo ModelTM will be well
positioned to lead organizations committed to continuous improvement and
sustainable value creation, and to advance rapidly in their careers. Students
completing this specialization will also be awarded a Shingo certificate of
completion.
