Its main activity is the extraction of salt from an underground mine, further processing and marketing. As result of its activities, a constant traffic of vehicles that Access the mine through one of their mouths (own vehicles that are responsible to transport the salt, nonbusiness vehicles and vehicles related to the companies that provide maintenance services). The particularity of the functionality of the company, require having a solution that will require some assumptions: The vehicles don’t have to stop to identify in the Access and must bear a large flow of traffic. The vehicle registration process in the system has to be easy and fast. For specific cases, it should be possible to enable remote access upon vehicle identification seeking access. It must be possible to enable the passage from the hut next to the access. It has to allow in a future the vehicle location in a circuit that runs the mine. Inability to use a license plate reader. The salt dust in suspension prevents proper shooting due to micro sparkles that this generates. The vehicle access system of Ibernex provides an effective and fully scalable solution, allowing to control the vehicles access and locating vehicles that are inside the mine, meeting the needs of the company. The vehicle identification is performed by the installation of UHF antennas in the beginning of the mine. One is used to identify the vehicles entering in the mine and the other one for identifying when they leave the mine. These antennas detect type sticker tags, without power, placed on the windshield of vehicles. Using this type of tag makes system maintenance is practically zero, without needing that the batteries were changed. The vehicles outside the company don’t need return the tag because its low cost. These barriers incorporate a magnetic loop and a photocell to control the passage of vehicles and avoid an unauthorized access. Each of the barriers has associated a traffic light indicating the possibility of passage. From the checkpoint at the entrance, through a switch is allowed to have Access as long as necessary, and prevent the Access permanently. It incorporates mechanisms for remote opening prior identification of the vehicle/personnel that want to Access. For this, two anti-vandal intercoms have been installed connected to an analog line of a PBX at different heights, for using from tourism or a truck. The intercom incorporates a RFID card reader, which can be used as an alternative mechanism for identification in the access control system. To manage the information related to the system, visits and vehicles control software is installed. This software allows in real time, to control the visit and vehicles Access, and the access to list of vehicles at one point is inside the mine. As already mentioned, the identification system used allows the location of the vehicles controlling the passage for a point of the circuit in the mine. In the future, this functionality is intended to be used to control the permanence of vehicles on the circuit, generating alerts (calls to mobile, email, SMS…) otherwise. Thanks to the adaptability of our system, Ibérica de Sales was able to have a solution that fits your needs, and it noted for its robustness and optimal result. Ibernex covers the large needs and expectations. Ibernex Ingeniería, S.L., R.M. de Zaragoza Tomo 3696, Folio 2, Hoja Z-48239, inscripción 3ª, C.I.F. B-99238602
