Visitors and residents alike will enjoy browsing the wares of the Uptown merchants and more than 100 street vendors, grabbing a bite in an Uptown restaurant or from one of the many food trucks and listening to live music throughout the evening. “We look for something new to offer each year,” said WVCB Executive Director Jeff Hartnell. “We’re delighted to offer an additional vendor and performance area this year in the parking lot along E. Home St., next to the Columbus Running Company.” Hartnell said the new space will allow audiences more space to enjoy groups like ProFencing, Leap of Faith Dance Company and The Academy Irish Dance Co throughout the season. He said there will also be additions to the street-food line-up, including melts, soup, rib tips and loaded fries, plus healthy offerings from the Kinetic Food Truck and Red Plate Blue Plate. The Schmidt’s Sausage Truck will roll into Uptown for the first time as well. The Westerville Puppet Posse will be back to entertain the kids.
