YOU WORE IT ONCE. YOU DON’T HAVE ONE YET. IT’S
HANGING THERE. YOU DIDN’T GET TO WEAR IT.
IT HAUNTS YOU. IT’S SO OUTDATED. IT’S BEAUTIFUL.
YOU STILL FIT INTO IT. YOU DEFINITELY DON’T FIT
INTO IT. IT MAKES YOU SMILE. IT MAKES YOU SAD.
Looking for a reason to re-wear your wedding dress?*
Join us!
Kaeja d’Dance is looking for every day women (married or not!) to join the
Wedding Brigade and take part in a one-of-a-kind cultural experience!
The Wedding Brigade is a performance piece that invites participants to form a
beautifully staged outdoor procession of women dressed in wedding white.
Conceived by Co-Artistic Director Karen Kaeja, this piece seeks to explore and
re-frame the meaning of the white wedding dress as a symbol of love hope &
commitment: the good, the bad, the ugly - the commitments that work out and
the ones that don’t. Performances to be held Aug 19 - 23, 2015.
We’re holding a photo shoot - and we need all kinds of women!
Monday, May 4, 11 - 1 pm - 734 Euclid Ave (Bloor St. and Bathurst St.)
Rain Date: Tuesday, May 5, 11 - 1 PM*
Morning snacks provided.
It will be a fun time with other women & you will learn gentle, easy movement!
