FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
KamadoWorks Announces Family of Kamado Grills for Backyard Cooking
New Grills Set New Price-Performance Standard for Outdoor Grilling, Searing, Baking, Roasting and
Pizza
March 18, 2014, Carmel, CA — KamadoWorks today announced the new Classic Series family of Kamado
grills, available in three sizes, 15”, 18” and 21” wide internal cooking surfaces, and three colors, red, black and
green. An optional stainless steel cart with bamboo side tables and locking casters is available for each model.
The KamadoWorks Classic Series grills are fueled by either charcoal briquettes or lump wood charcoal, and
are constructed using the highest quality ceramics and stainless steel and are covered by a limited Lifetime
Warranty, including the industry’s only Lifetime Felt Gasket Warranty — called The Forever Felt Gasket
(reasonable conditions apply). The KamadoWorks Classic Series combines premium quality construction with
the lowest prices in the industry. Prices start at just $599, and the company offers a wide range of cooking
accessories and specialized grates and heat deflectors.
The KamadoWorks Kamado grills feature a dual-top/bottom vent design for accurate control over air flow and
cooking temperature, enabling the backyard chef to cook for long, sustained periods of time at a wide range of
temperatures — from a low 200ºF for low, slow meat smoking to a high 750ºF for high temperature roasting
and great pizza. The top vent is constructed from premium-quality cast iron, and features a dual-disk system
that gives the chef fine control over air flow, while the stainless steel bottom vent slides easily, giving the chef
control over air flow, and making air clean up easy.
“The Kamado is the best grill for backyard cooking. The experts all agree that nothing else even compares,”
said James Bairey, KamadoWorks President and Founder. “A Kamado grill can do it all; it can smoke, grill,
bake, roast and make great pizza. The problem is that until now, the major Kamado grill companies have been
able to charge really high prices, that have limited the Kamado to the very high end of the market.
KamadoWorks breaks through that problem. Our goal is to make a great Kamado grill available to everyone.
That’s why the company’s tagline is “Kamado for the people”. We want everyone to enjoy these wonderful
cookers and all the great food you can cook with one.”

fired in computer-controlled kilns for a lifetime of outstanding cooking. The company’s ceramic material
features cordierite, calcium oxide and aluminum oxide to provide outstanding insulation and heat retention for
grilling, roasting and baking, as well as resistance to abrasion, spalling and cracking.
