There's Always SOME-thing
Kim Ratz, Featured Guest Speaker
Maple Room
In a busy office like yours, there is always SOME-thing going on that will push your button, or make your day, or at
least give you pause ... Sometimes it's a coworker, sometimes it's a customer, sometimes it's something that
happened at home before you left for work, or on the way to work, or a breaking news headline that grabs your
attention ... And given the ubiquitous impact that media has on us these days, it's no wonder that stress, including in
the workplace, continues to increase! So it continues to be important to be able to manage your own morale and
relax when stress starts to get a grip on you. This workshop will be a fun way to review some very practical and doable techniques to reduce your own stress, including:
• Typical patterns that cause stress, and warning signs and symptoms of stress;
• Quick review of 10 techniques to reduce stress and a chance to practice many of them.
• A chance to ask questions, and then focus on a goal to immediately implement techniques that will work for you.

development of the plan of finance will provide insight regarding the assumptions used in projecting the mill levy and
taxpayer cost estimates as well as understanding how State Aid, Interest Rates and Assessed Valuation growth can
impact the projected mill levy for the proposed bond election.
