Objective of the post:
The main responsibility of the holder of the position will be the technical coordination and on site
supervision of the construction of the new KCCR cool house under Mr. Peter Timm, the technical
head.
Principal tasks:

Cost control, cost capture of quantities
Coordination of the construction site and monitoring the progress of work;
Quality control of construction material;
Daily site supervision;
Monitoring the project implementation and compliance with the project documents and timelines
Preparation of weekly reports on the status of project implementation with min 10 Photos per
week
Coordinate and network with KCCR Management
Prepare drawings if needed in case of modifications
Any other tasks that may be designated
Required Entry Qualifications and Competencies
•

Master Degree in civil/structural engineering or equivalent relevant education/experience;
Expertise in Reporting, Monitoring and Evaluation of projects;
Ability to manage complex tasks with minimal supervision and under tight deadlines;
Strong IT skills; Microsoft Office, E-mail;
Flexibility and ability to work .
Reporting
The Engineer reports directly to the Technical head and the HoA in KCCR.
