Cabling Design and Installation
KFP offers a wealth of experience and pedigree when it
comes to structured cabling systems. We can offer a full
design service to enable us to install a host of cabling
services to meet any requirement.
Copper & Fibre Cabling Systems
KFP can supply, install and maintain the full range of
copper network cabling systems. As authorised installers
for a number of market leading manufacturers and
distributors, we are also able to offer underwritten 25 year
produce and performance warranties.
With fibre optic cabling systems, in order to meet
client requirements for a reliable, guaranteed network
infrastructure, the installation of the correct back
bone cabling system is essential. KFP have a wealth of
experience in the installation, termination and testing of
singlemode and multimode fibre optic cabling systems.
New Retail stores & refit implementation
services
Whether it’s a new store or trading refit, KFP provide
a fully integrated turnkey approach to orchestrate
multi-store system roll-outs or single upgrades with
the minimum of fuss. This comprehensive service
encompasses full logistics and stock management,
hardware build and configuration, secure warehousing,
power and data cabling, onsite installation and software
integration. We work hard to minimise impact on trading
in all situations. Not only do we undertake rigorous predelivery checks, surveying & efficient installation in-situ,
but we also work in partnership with other trades to
ensure that you stay in business throughout.
Voice Cabling Systems
KFP, in conjunction with market leading equipment
providers and selected business partners, can design and
install voice cabling systems and equipment. Whether
your requirement is for additional outlets or moves and
changes to existing positions, KFP can provide support.
VoIP Systems
KFP offer a range of VoIP solutions that allow our
customers to adopt and introduce IP telephony at the
required pace. Solutions include IP PBX systems and
network based IP telephony products.
Wireless Networking
When building a network system, installing cabling may
not always be the most practical or cost-effective solution.
Wireless network technologies offer an alternative
solution for connectivity. KFP has extensive experience in
the supply and installation of Wireless LAN Technology,
utilising the latest technology from market leading
equipment providers and selected business partners.

Support Services
In our experience, reliable support platforms are of
huge importance to our clients. The best end-to-end
network design may have been implemented, however
without resilient, efficient and knowledgeable after
install support available this can all count for nothing.
We offer a range of technical support functions to
ensure that your systems continue to support your
business as intended.
Helpdesk Support
At our offices in Abingdon, Oxfordshire we operate an
in-house helpdesk function for our clients. Working
closely with our clients every step of the way using
our industry specific AutoTask service desk platform,
we can ensure all instances such as POS terminals,
cabling faults, wireless/network or any other issues get
resolved quickly and efficiently. Helpdesk technical
assistance is delivered either by phone/remote assistance
from a qualified technical support team member. The
technician will be dedicated to your issue through to an
effective resolution.
Our reputation is built on long term relationships
with our clients, working with them as an extension of
their organisation to understand how they do business
and how they would like to do business in the future.
We manage and maintain solutions through their
technology life cycle and throughout all technology
adds, moves or changes as the business grows or changes
direction. In this way we provide on-going future
proofed, scalable delivery of day to day support whether
it be on site, remotely or through remote helpdesk
functions.
This support is available under contract, with full
Service Level Agreements, 24 hours a day 7 days a
week, 365 days a year and can be tailored to meet your
requirements.

Technical Support
Our Technical Support function is an extension of our
helpdesk service, with the responsibility for the technical
aspects of an installation, with a full understanding
of design and implementation aspects of networking
solutions.
A flexible, highly skilled group of engineers are
available to troubleshoot problems that may arise
on a network, trained to the highest level in specific
vendor technology, thus providing customers with an
on demand resource for multi-vendor equipment, vital
in times of network disruption, outage, or unknown
problems. This service is available under contract as
an addition to our helpdesk service, or as a standalone
service, subject to availability.
Post Installation Support
Even the best cabling infrastructure, network
implementations or retail environments needs to adapt
to day to day changes and conditions. KFP can tailor
bespoke service packages that will provide our clients
with reliable cost effective post installation support. One
off site visits can be provided on an as required basis,
subject to availability. Alternatively, we can offer SLA
based services such as:
• Helpdesk services (as above)
• On-site support for Installations/Moves/Adds/Changes
• On-site support for trouble-shooting and diagnostics

Management
Project Management
KFP has a wealth of knowledge, gained through years
of experience providing Project Management on the
installation of complete IT solutions in many different
business environments.
Our Project Managers ensure that all work is
carried out to the highest industry standards. Their
responsibilities incorporate the total supervision of an
installation, adhering to dictated time scales and the
most stringent technical specifications.
The Project Managers are also involved in the
organisation and co-ordination of all other services
relevant to a particular project. By maintaining the
highest standards of Project Management, customers
are assured of the most flexible, efficient and cost
effective solutions.
Design & Consultancy
KFP can provide a consultancy service from the
initial design of the most practical solution through
to installation and implementation of the complete
solution. Regardless of the size of the project, KFP are
in partnership with the client from conception through
to completion and beyond.

Logistics
Logistics can be defined as: “The delivery of the
required goods / manpower, to the required place,
at the required time, in the required state and to the
required person… Efficiently.”
With our ever expanding marketplace KFP appreciates
the importance of efficient logistics operations to
our business. We are currently operating throughout
the UK, Europe, America and Australia, with an
ever increasing need to supply material and labour
resources to clients in a timely, cost efficient manner.
Logistics is at the centre of electronic commerce
(e-commerce) which is developing all the time.
Material Resources
Working in partnership with several international
logistics companies we are able to organise the storage
and distribution of mission critical material elements
worldwide.
Labour Resources
With a detailed knowledge of the strategic booking of
flights / ferries / Eurotunnel etc. our staff are able to
organise the timely / cost efficient movement of staff
around customer sites and locations worldwide.

Warehouse Management
Within our Abingdon head office location we have
a logistics and distribution manager whose role is
to ensure that the right products / staff elements are
delivered to the right location on time and at a good
cost. Our logistics manager tracks the transportation,
maintains stock control, warehousing and monitoring
the flow of goods with an excellent understanding
of the whole supply chain so they can co-ordinate it
effectively and liaise with suppliers of raw materials,
manufacturers, retailers and consumers. Information
Technology plays a key role in the process and IT
systems and electronic communication methods
are used to keep track of stock levels, delivery times,
transport costs and performance evaluation.
A range of business tasks are undertaken to support
the smooth and efficient operation of supply chain
processes, including:
•monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency
of the movement and storage of goods. coordinating and controlling the order cycle and
associated information systems.
•analysing data to monitor performance and plan
improvements and demand, allocating and managing
staff resources according to changing needs.
•liaising and negotiating with customers and
suppliers, developing business by gaining new
contracts, analysing logistical problems and
implementing new solutions.
Procurement
