This mailing is in response to questions about the July 27 commemoration services
marking the 20th anniversary of the Korean War Veterans Memorial in
Washington, the service at Arlington National Cemetery and other events and
activities taking place during the national convention of the Korean War Veterans
Association (USA).
We are pleased to include a link to the convention particulars. To access
information about the convention and the various events and activities, click on the
registration form link it will open a page with full details of functions, as well as an
application form, and also a link to open the hotel reservation page.
The page is preset with the dates of the convention (July 22-27) and automatically
offers the very attractive $105 per night discounted room.
The hotel asks for credit card information but no charge is made on the card until
check-out. The reservation can easily be cancelled by Internet or phone without
charge, up until 24 hours before the check-in date.

Walk-in Registrations will be accepted at the convention Registration Desk starting
Wednesday July 22, 2015,
but we cannot guarantee availability at Events, Tours or Banquet if capacity is reached.
Walk-in Registration Deadline will be 5:00pm Friday July 24 latest in order to give the
Hotel the
time they need to be adequately prepared for Banquet seating and meal accommodations.
The view from the Double Tree’s revolving restaurant is superb. Note the
capital building on the right and the Washington Monument in the front
center. The hotel is a short walk from the Pentagon and one mile from
Arlington National Cemetery.
