About the workshop:
This training covers the range of illnesses that an SRS worker may need to deal with. It provides some
skills training on communicating with, and providing services to, these residents.
This workshop will include:



Understanding the various health issues that may be presented by SRS residents
Information about these health issues for SRS staff
Practical ways of managing these health issues.
Target audience: Personal Support Coordinators and Workers
Time: 10.00am – 3.00pm
Cost: Training is free and lunch is provided

The Department of Health (DoH) is able to provide a contribution of $50 backfill per SRS
employee to attend this training in recognition of its importance. A tax invoice must be
