I would like to personally welcome you to our inaugural “Endless Opportunity Event” that will be held Saturday,
June 27th at the ranch near Orlando, Oklahoma. Until this past year, we had held an annual production sale in
December, but over the past few years, we have moved our program to primarily fall calving to suit our customer
base. This has been a three-year project, and through our strenuous E.T. and A.I. program, we have been able to
concentrate on the cow families that are our top producers.
Many of the females being offered have been some of the most productive females for us and will continue to be
for you. The bred heifers, two- and three-year-olds are a rare combination of powerful genetics with extra look and
style. The Opportunity in this group of young females is Endless!
I have strived to breed cattle that are sound, big legged and square hipped with lots of rib and body—all while
still keeping an ultra cool look in them. I believe this set of females is the best we have ever offered off the ranch.
Whether you are looking for a proven, big-time donor or a young female with tremendous upside, you will not be
disappointed. These females have worked really well for us, and I am confident they will for you as well.
I would like to invite you to be with us Friday, June 26th, to view the sale cattle. That evening we will have a

gathering that will include a crawfish boil, refreshments and live entertainment. This is sure to be a good time by

all, and I look forward to visiting with current and new customers. If you have any questions about the offering,
don’t hesitate to call.

Lastly, I would like to thank my wife, Stacy, our son, Denver, and daughters, Berkley and Kamdyn, for their love and
support of allowing me to do what I love.

5005
MCKY–Begalka
Lots 1–9 descend from the now-deceased donor MCKY–Begalka 5005. To date, 5005 has produced
well over $400,000 in progeny sales, making her one of the most prolific donors in both the McKay
and Begalka herds. McKay thought so much of this prolific donor that he cloned 5005.
Phenotypically, 5005 was one of the best built beef animals I have ever had the opportunity to
appraise. If you like bone, body and butt with a feminine look, 5005 would be your kind of female.
The red-and-white pattern she displayed certainly made her stand out in a crowd. More than her
looks, she was a flat out producer! Several A.I. bulls and donors working across the country descend
from 5005. She is the dam of Patrón and The Outlaw. A daughter, MCKY 0520, is the dam of Ready 4
the Ride, a member of the Lautner Farms bull battery. Other donor daughters include MCKY 1841
(Lot 2), MCKY 9212, MCKY 9207, MCKY 3032, MCKY–Begalka 719T (dam of Lots 4, 5, 6 and 7) and
Martin–Begalka 996 (dam of Lots 8 and 9).
Don’t miss this opportunity to acquire direct daughters, granddaughters and embryos from this
famed and now-deceased donor dam.

MCKY 1841 {Made Right x MCKY–Begalka 5005}
A powerfully constructed, beautifully designed, good marked daughter of the immortal 5005 and sired
by Made Right, who has certainly left his mark in the industry. Made Right semen commands $300-plus
in today’s marketplace, and the 5005 progeny and embryos are hard to find for sale and extremely
valuable.
1841 is truly one of a kind! She may be one the best built daughters of 5005 to surface to date. Bryan
believes that her earning potential in producing show steers, future donors and marketable A.I. sires
is in the upper echelon of what a female can produce monetarily. 1841 is without question a feature
donor dam in this offering, as she has been for McKay Cattle Co. in her young, productive career.
Her fall 2014 calf was sold to the Young family in Texas.

Sired by JCS Showtime, Lots 4 and 5 are paternal sisters to the Reserve Grand Champion Steer at the 2010
Fort Worth Stock Show. Their dam, a direct daughter of MCKY–Begalka 5005, is Hereford marked and flat out good!
This pair of flush mate sisters is something to see. They are square hipped, super correct in their lines and ultra cool
fronted. It is hard to find Hereford-marked females with this much look and pedigree anywhere in the country.
These two young females offer a rare opportunity, as JCS Showtime semen is in limited supply and, when found,
commands in excess of $800 per straw.

Lots 6 and 7 are two-year-old daughters of the 2007 National Western Stock Show Grand Champion Polled Hereford

siring cattle with extra bone, hair, body and butt, and when you analyze these two flush mate sisters, you can see
that he without question does that. Don’t forget—the dam is a direct daughter of MCKY–Begalka 5005.

If you are in the market for Hereford-marked females, McKay has brought his best to the table for this event. Not only
phenotypically but genetically, there may not be a better set of them available anywhere. Hereford cattle are hotter
than ever but still yet hard to find. Take advantage of these genetic gems selling June 27th in Orlando, Oklahoma!

The dam of Lots 8 and 9, Martin–Begalka 996, was purchased by Brian Martin Show Cattle in Texas and is now working in his elite donor program.
996 is sired by the ever-popular Troubadour and out of the immortal 5005. Could you write a better pedigree for big-time club calf producing females?
Lot 8 is a cool colored yellow-and-white female that is monster boned and stout! She produced a heifer calf, which is being retained in the herd.
Lot 9 is made just like her sister but is red and white like their grandmother 5005, with all the power, bone and body you can ask one to have.
Not only do these flush sisters have all the look a cattleman could ask for, they have a pedigree that even the most astute cattlemen are in search of.

We had the opportunity to purchase 3401 from Brooks
Shepard in Wheatland, Wyoming. She has been claimed
by many to be the best looking purebred Hoodoo female
ever to surface. Pete White has stated that 3401 is “the
best Hoodoo female” he has ever seen. Considering the
large number of Hoodoo females Pete would have seen,
we think that speaks volumes for 3401.
In the past year and a half, 3401 has produced bulls,
donors and steers that have sold for $40,000, $30,000,
four at $20,000, $10,000, $7,000 and $5,000. Many of her
progeny have sold to those who earn their living in the
cattle business; we certainly appreciate their business and
their faith in 3401’s genetics, including Adam Potts, Brock

Just a three-year-old, this Monopoly daughter is a
favorite of everyone who visits the ranch. You know
that is saying something if you have ever had the
pleasure of driving through the McKay cow herd.
It would be pretty hard to nail it down to one
favorite, as he has bred and assembled some of
the most elite females across all breeds and facets
of the beef business!
If you like cattle that are built correct from the
ground up and have all the amenities of bone, body
and look, you will fall in love with this white beauty.

700X was originally purchased by Donnie Begalka
as a heifer calf for $38,000 in the 2010 Elite Female
Sale. She went on to have a very successful show
career and has been even more impressive in
production. Her first steer, sired by Whizard,
commanded $25,000.
Donnie has been known to offer some of his most
potent donors at the peak of their production.
700X sells again in Orlando, Oklahoma…this time
as a proven, productive donor.

The Irish Whiskey x Chill Factor mating has been one of the most sought after in
recent history. This mating is quite a maternal package that is very potent, producing
both male and female progeny with value.
2943 is extremely well balanced from end to end with added bone and body. The
genetic potential of this female has not even been surfaced. She is selling too early to
truly know what she can do. How many Whiskey daughters are bought at auction that
go on and in a year or two double or even triple their value? 2943 is that kind!

The Irishman is one of the most exciting sons

high-end cattle that are heavier structured,
stouter made, bigger bodied and furrier than

and for good reason.
