POTLUCKS HAVE NOT HAD MUCH TO OFFER LATELY.
Our club will, once again, participate in the fundraiser
for Alzheimer’s Research on Monday, June 22nd. We
will also be selling raffle tickets for a year’s free
bridge games beginning on Monday, May 18th. Tickets
are $25 each or 5 for $100. The cost is tax deductible
and will help a great cause. We will draw the winner
at the game on June 22nd. Once again Donna Loeffler
will head up the event. Thanks to her and everyone
who will be participating.
Call the Director!
We all know that a player may only use a psych bid
once in a session. But who’s to know? If you believe
that an opponent has used a psych bid, call the
director so that he/she knows that it has occurred
and can assess a penaly should anyone else call
him/her for the same offense during the session. If
you and your partner are the only ones who know,
then the opponent can use it against someone else
later on in the same session.
LET’S STEP UP FOR 8 IS ENOUGH AND BRING SOME
WONDERFUL DISHES TO SHARE. BE SURE TO COME
EARLY WITH YOUR DISHES.
CLASSES
On Mondays from 6:30 to 8:30 pm there is guided
practice for those with less than 20 master points.
Encourage your friends to join our beginner’s
classes (currently on Thursdays from 9:00 – 11:00
am and again from 6:30 – 8:30 pm).

Check the calendar for the many club charity games
this month. Extra points are available as we help the
celebrate Grass Roots Month. All money raised is
returned to the District to help with our district
