
Bike ride starting at 8am.
Segway Tour of the Riverfront 8:00-10:00am. The cost is $42 and limited to 20
people. The tour starts at The Garage at the corner of Vine St. and Central
Parkway. After a 20 minute instruction the ride goes through the Central Business
District south to Sawyer Point and the Bicentennial Commons, to Yeatman’s
Cove, Serpentine Wall and Friendship Park before gliding across the Purple
People Bridge to Kentucky and finally returning to Cincinnati and The Garage.
After the tour, a great option for lunch is Findlay Market which is nearby. The
group will be divided into 3 smaller groups with a guide leading each group.
Participants are required to wear helmets (provided or bring own bicycle helmet).
Tours are cancelled in case of bad weather and the cost is refunded.
Underground Brewery Tour 9:30-11:00am. The cost is $24 and limited to 50
people. The Lager Tour starts at historic Findlay Market at the Over-the-Rhine
Biergarten. Walking up Elm Street, tour guests will learn how German
immigrants built the densely populated neighborhoods, which precipitated their
great thirst for beer. Walking past the original Christian Moerlein brewery
complex, guests will learn about this historic preProhibition brewery that once
was one of the largest in the country. Guests continue to the Sohn/Clyffside
Brewhouse, one of the most stellar examples of brewery architecture in the city,
where they will see the ornate high-bay brewing spaces inside. The final stop is
deep under the Jackson brewery, venturing through to the massive network of
lagering cellars in the Clifton hillside. We return to the Biergarten to end the tour,
where a cold beer is included in your ticket price, to quench your thirst like the
Germans of old.
