EXECUTIVE POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMME IN MANAGEMENT (EPGPM)
The Need
Organizations have often felt the need to enhance the value of their managers,
particularly of those who lack formal exposure to “Management” education. Organisations
often are at a disadvantage in not having a large enough pool of managers who have all had
formal exposure to management. This in turn limits the managerial pool available to business
for leadership positions. Thus by enhancing their conceptual knowledge and building a mindset
that is anchored on contemporary management thinking and practices, these experience
professionals will be able increase their contribution and enhance the value they bring to
business. The organization also benefits by having a larger pool of “trained” managers
becoming available for leadership roles.
The Programme:
For the last 35+ years, LIBA being into the Management Education, it is LIBA’s
responsibility to address this demand of the organizations in creating these future leaders. We
are delighted to introduce our long standing two year Executive Postgraduate Programme in
Management (EPGPM) first time as an open corporate programme for the working
professionals in the following specializations: Marketing, Finance, Human Resources,
Operations, and General Management. This programme aids these professionals to
transform them from individuals to business leaders in their organizations.
The programme is designed to meet the knowledge and skillsets required by the
organizations. Understanding the challenges of the professionals who are keen to pursue
serious education while working, we would like to conduct this programme on the weekends
(Saturdays & Sundays) by bringing back these professionals to the campus life without
compromising on the quality. The corporate endorsement of the applicant is essential to pursue
the programme.
Programme Highlights:
 Flexible learning: 24 courses (17 Core Papers + 7 specialization papers1)
 Specialization in the functional areas of Marketing, Finance, Human Resources,
Operations, and General Management.

Eligibility:
The applicants must hold the following:
Atleast a Bachelor’s Degree (with minimum 60% marks in 10th, 12th, and under-

graduation) in any discipline from a recognized university or hold a professional
qualification recognized as equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree.
ii.
Full-Time work experience for a minimum of two years as on 30th June 2015.
iii.
The applicant should be employed at the time of applying for the programme. And
iv.
A Recommendation Letter/Endorsement from the Employer in the suggested format in
support of the application is essential.
Application Procedure:
Please contact in person for the application forms and prospectus from 02nd May, 2015 (Except
on Sundays) between 10 am and 5 pm on payment of Rs. 800/- by Cash or Demand Draft
favoring ‘LIBA’ payable at Chennai.
The last date for the submission of filled-in application forms is 13th June, 2015.
Admission Procedure:
The admission committee will make a preliminary evaluation of the applications. Those
selected in the preliminary evaluation will be called for a personal interview. At the time of the
interview, candidates must produce the following documents:
1. Two latest passport size photographs
2. 10th and 12th Marksheets (Original and self-attested copy)
3. Under-graduation Degree Certificate (Original and self-attested copy)
4. Under-graduation Consolidated Marksheet (Original and self-attested copy)
5. Copy of Employee ID Card
6. Copy of the offer letter issued by the employer at the time of employment.
7. Copy of the pay slip of last three months.
8. Recommendation Letter/Endorsement from the employer in the suggested format given
during the time of application.
9. Resume/Profile of the candidate.
Candidate should appear for the personal interview on the date and time which would be
intimated through email.
Programme Duration:
The duration of the programme is of two years. Classes will be held in the LIBA campus on
Saturdays (10.00 am - 5.15 pm) and Sundays (10.00 am - 1.15 pm)
Course Fee:
The consolidated course fee for 2 years is Rs.3,05,000/- + Service Tax as applicable. The course
fee includes Admission Fee, Tuition Fee, Learning Material Fee, Refundable Library Caution
Deposit, and Alumni Membership Fee.

Library Refundable Caution Deposit:
This refundable deposit will be payable along with the First Term Fee. The same will be
refunded to the student by cheque while he/she graduates or leaves from the institute, after
verifying that there are no outstanding dues.
Mode of Payment:
The participants should draw a Demand Draft in favor of ‘LIBA’ payable at ‘Chennai’.
Payments to be done before the commencement of each term.
