ollier Memorial State Park is notable for its fly fishing,
horseback riding and acclaimed collection of historic logging

equipment. The Williamson River and crystal-clear Spring
Creek converge in the park, which is 25 miles from the southeast
entrance to Crater Lake National Park and 10 miles from
primitive camping at Jackson F. Kimball State Recreation Site.
Seasonal Camping
All sites offer a paved parking pad, picnic table, and fire ring.
Restrooms are ADA-accessible and feature flush toilets, hot
showers, and laundry facilities.

A 1/2-mile trail leads from the campground to the logging museum
and pioneer village (see map on other side). This trail intersects
another that connects the park’s two day-use areas and leads
to Spring Creek. A trail from the campground leads to the
Williamson River.
A 10-mile primitive trail connects Collier Memorial and
Jackson F. Kimball parks via Forest Service roads that wind
through Winema National Forest. The primitive trail is
designed for horseback riders, hikers, mountain bikers
and cross-country skiers. A Forest Service road map is
recommended. The trailhead is located behind the logging
museum near the horse camp — take a left before entering
the Spring Creek day-use area.
Ask for information about the OC&E Woods Line State
Trail, a 100-mile route for bikers, hikers, and equestrians
leading east from Klamath Falls.
Explore the Area’s Logging Past
Fish in Two Streams
The Williamson River and its Spring Creek tributary are some
of the premier fishing waters in Oregon for both rainbow and
brook trout. Both are open to non-motorized boating.
With a pristine setting near the headwaters of the Wood
River, this small campground is only 10 miles southeast
of the south entrance to Crater Lake National Park. The
campground has 10 primitive sites without water. Vault
toilets are provided. A trail leads from the campground to
the site where the river emerges as a spring bubbling from a
rocky hillside. Bring your canoe or kayak to fully enjoy the
meandering river and its beautiful forested corridor.

Smoking in Oregon State Parks is allowed only in personal vehicles, RVs,
campsites and portions of day use parks along state highways that are
designated as safety rest areas by the Oregon Department of Transportation.

Check out one of Oregon’s best collections of antique logging
equipment, both outdoors on the grounds of the Collier
Memorial Logging Museum and indoors in the newly-added
replica cookhouse. The museum’s donkey steam engines,
skidding and railroad equipment, small tools, and variety
of machinery are displayed year-round, weather permitting,
from daylight to dusk. A gift shop and information center are
open seasonally from May through October.
Visit the museum’s Pioneer Village to see log cabins
relocated from points around southern Oregon. Many of
the structures, which display a variety of building techniques
and period furnishings, date from the 1880s. The museum
and village come alive with volunteers in period clothing
and old logging equipment demonstrations during the
park’s Living History Day on the third Sunday in June.

NOTE: Please use the RV dump station to empty a full holding tank rather than a campsite
connection, which can overflow.

• Pets must be physically restrained at all times when not confined in a vehicle or tent.
Leashes must be no longer than six feet. All waste must be properly removed.

• Bicycles are not permitted on sidewalks or paved trails and pathways leading to buildings.
They may be ridden on park roads with the traffic flow and on established, unpaved park
trails. Do not ride bicycles cross-country. Riders younger than 16 must wear helmets.
• All vehicles must be parked on pavement.
• Campground quiet hours are between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
