BETA CLUB
The LRES Junior Beta Club has proven to be a very dedicated
group of fifth grade students that has had a wonderful year giving to our community. They
worked hard to promote and fundraise for several organizations as well as perform community
service for others. Organizations that have benefitted are:
 Give A Kid a Chance and MUST Ministries (Holiday Giving Tree)
 Armed Forces (Holiday Cards sent)
 LRES Preschool (Reading Buddies)
 LRES Campus Beautification (monthly fence decorations)
 Ronald MacDonald House (pop-top collection)
 Cherokee County Animal Shelter (Paws vs Claws competition)
 Relay for Life (Safe in the Sun Day with Northside Hospital, selling Hero bands and decorating the Baton)
The members will leave this year knowing that they have lead this school in ways that have significantly helped others. They have definitely lived the Beta Club motto of “Let us lead by serving others”. Congratulations on a job well done!!
