PROVIDE FIRST AID HLTAID003 (LEVEL II SENIOR FIRST AID)
INTEL® EASY STEPS
This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge
required to provide first aid response, life support, management
of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival
of medical or other assistance. This course is suitable for those
students requiring workplace first aid skills.
Dates: Fridays 8th May, 29th May or 26th June

This course is for absolute beginners. Gain confidence in using a
computer, learn “the basics” of the computer to communicate with
friends, family and business associates. Includes setting up and
using email, Internet, how to create flyers, letters, and more.

INTEL® EASY STEPS – THE NEXT STEP
Performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) can help save a
life, often the life of a family member or someone you know. We
recommend that every personal learn this life saving skill. This unit
of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to
perform CPR in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council
(ARC) Guidelines.

This course will further enhance your computer literacy skills
including spreadsheets and other Microsoft products and enhanced

CHILDCARE –

This course is a skill set combination course designed for child care
workers that hold a current First Aid certificate.
These units describes the skills and knowledge required to provide
first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the
incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other
assistance and provide advance training in the use of auto
injectors for the treatment of anaphylaxis and the advance
treatments associated with Asthma.

DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY FOR BEGINNERS –
WITH GREG CRUICKSHANK
Digital cameras can be great fun but they can also be very
confusing to new users. In this course you will learn how to use
your camera more effectively and to take better photos.
Once you have your photos learn how to use a basic photo editing
program on the computer to enhance your images including
adding or removing parts (or people). BYO Camera

TECHNOLOGY
This course is for students who want to improve on their basic

Word. Successful completion of this course will lead the remaining
units in this certificate.

This course is designed for those who may have already obtained

who need to up skill to move to a new position.

Certificate II in Community Services will open a doorway to a whole
new world of work. You will discover the amazing range of services in
our community for those with a disability or mental illness, older
people, children and youth. This qualification provides a pathway into
Certificate III in Aged Care, disability and Home and community Care.

Duration: 2 day per week over 12 weeks Time: 9.00am – 3.00pm

This course is ideal for those who have a rapport with and
genuine warmth for people who have a disability. This type of
work is about maintaining the personal care and daily activities of
people living in the community and/or those living in residential
facilities. #Note this delivery method is only for students already
working in this field.

This qualification addresses work primarily in residential facilities
under direct or regular supervision within clearly defined organisation
guidelines and service plans. Workers carry out activities to maintain
personal care and/or other activities of living for people in an aged
care setting and activities related to an individualised plan. After you
have successfully completed Certificate III in Aged care you can enrol
in the units to attain a dual qualification in Certificate III Disability or
Certificate III in Home and Community Care

AGED CARE: Skills Review
This course has been developed to support students who have
completed Certificate III in Aged Care, HACC or Disability but have as
yet not been employed or who have been underemployed. The
course will focus on refreshing essential workplace skills and include
practical placement to ensure the learners have current industry
knowledge.
