NO.14/15.MAR.VOL 27. Stewards Ma Kam Ming Charitable Foundation Ma Ko Pan Memorial College Vol. 27 19 MARCH 2015 【School Notices: A Letter to Makopanians (Excerpt)】 【For the Reference of Native English-Speaking Students & Parents】 Dear Parents, Message from the Principal Thanks again for the hard work of our teachers, parents and students in joining the Stewards Flag Day last Saturday. There are many people in need in the society. Stewards keeps providing excellent medical services, education services and social services in the society. We hope that students can apply what they learn. Last week Mr Alan Gibbons, the awarded British author was invited to hold a reading seminar in our school. His experience has immensely inspired our students. Activity records are shown in our school website. After the First Term Prize Giving Ceremony, I have shared the following stories with our students. Around 100 years ago after the industrial revolution, the shoe-making industry was still nurtured in the “mentor-mentee” scheme. One of the mentees worked hard every day. His mentor told him to pay effort in making the sole of the shoes. The mentee worked hard every day but he only produced two pairs of shoes every day. Meanwhile, he found that other mentees paid less effort than him. This mentee told his mentor. His mentor replied him that the shoes they made were not for the customers but for God. The mentee became a famous shoe-maker after learning the answer. Col 3:23 also teaches us that “Whatever you do, do it readily, as to the Lord and not to men”. I would like to take this opportunity to encourage our students to do the best for God. Latest Notices (Excerpt): 1.
