CALL TO ORDER
The meeting of the Hampton Township Board Of Education was called to order by
Dr. Joseph Santora, President at 7:02 p.m. in the Library of the Marian E. McKeown School.
Dr. Joseph Santora opened the meeting with the following statement:
The New Jersey Open Public Meetings Law was enacted to ensure the right of the public to have
advance notice of and to attend the meetings of public bodies at which any business affecting
their interests is discussed or acted upon. In accordance with the provisions of this act, the
Hampton Township Board of Education has caused notice of this meeting to be posted in the
Hampton Township Municipal Building and the Marian E. McKeown School. Notice of this
meeting has also been published in the New Jersey Herald and forwarded to the Star Ledger.

APPEARANCES AND PRESENTATIONS
Mr. Festante presented Mrs. Audrey Sparta, our vocal music teacher and the Chorale to perform
for the Board in recognition of “music in our schools month” continuing the wonderful tradition
in our school of highlighting our outstanding vocal music performers.
Mr. Festante recognized Mrs. Audrey Sparta 2015 Teacher of The Year and Mrs. Colleen
Sweeley 2015 as Support Staff Member of The Year. Light refreshments were served.

Reminder to board members to complete the Personal and Financial Disclosure Ethics
forms online on the NJSBA website.
The Board Self Evaluation is available on the NJSBA website for completion by board
members.
Discussion of board meeting calendar change for the Wednesday April 8 th meeting
change to Monday April 13th. Note that the public hearing on the budget is scheduled for
Wednesday April 29th 2015 at 7:00 followed by the regular board meeting.

DISTRICT OPERATIONS
Motion made by Mr. Scott Valentine and seconded by Ms. Eleanore Shaffer to approve the
following facilities use:
1. KEEP- Sept 2015 through June 2016 Monday through Friday 6:50 am to 8:25 am and
2:50 pm to 6:00 pm.
2. Ginnys’ House Zumbathon Fundraiser on Friday April 10, 2015 from 6:00 pm to
9:00 pm. Cost for custodial services will be paid for by fundraising organization.
3. Zumbathon on Friday May 8, 2015 from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm to benefit the Delaware
Valley Raptor Center. Mrs. Brenda Delgrosso is the organizer of the function.
4. Kittatinny Little League-use of the gym for available evenings starting the week of
March 23 through April 17, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

that, pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A-23A-16.10(c)(4), after review of the secretary’s
monthly financial report (appropriations section) for February 2015 and upon proper
consultation with the appropriate district officials, to the best of our knowledge, no
major account or fund has been over-expended in violation of N.J.A.C. 6A-23A16.10(c)(4) and that sufficient funds are available to meet the district’s financial
obligations for the remainder of the fiscal year.

Infrastructure and Wireless Project (“Project”) on March 10, 2015; and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that it would be in its best interests to substantially revise
the specifications for the Project in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-22(d);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that all of the bids received for the Project are
rejected; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Business Administrator is authorized to revise the
specifications and re-bid the Project

Technology Officer hourly rate is $137.00; field engineer is $72.00 per hour; level 2 technician
