COUNTRY SHRINE CLUB invites you, your clients and friends (ladies have always been welcome) to join us and participate in
the Country Shrine Club Golf Invitational held on Monday May 18, 2015 at MEDINAH COUNTRY CLUB, site of the 2012
RYDER CUP. There is NO RAIN DATE for the event. Course # 3, Medinah’s championship course has hosted several Western Opens, the 1988 US Senior Open, 1949, 1975 and 1990
US Opens, the 1999 and 2006 PGA Championships and the 2012 Ryder Cup.
Course # 1 is now open for play after a complete re-design by Tom Doak. It is absolutly the best.

Course # 2, an original Donald Ross design is also available to play.
Prices are Course #3, $750 per player, Course #1, $550 per player (early 8:00am shotgun start) and Course #2 $400 per
player. All players will receive an elegant gate gift, full use of the practice range, great buffet lunch prior to teeing off, all
refreshments on & off the golf course and libations & food prior to a wonderful dinner. All Courses will have carts with a
forecaddie for each foresome. Courses are limited to 128 players with participant determined by receipt of your Invitational
Application and your check payable to Country Shrine Club. (Medinah Country Club members may charge on their club account.)
During dinner there may be a short auction of gifts (benefiting Shriners Hospitals for Children) donated by members of
Country Shrine Club and other supporters of Shriners Hospitals for Children. While auction items are not known at this time,
prior year auction items have included golf instruction, tickets to Chicago sporting events, hotel packages, use of vacation
properties and other appropriate items. Payment for auction item will be CASH, PERSONAL or BUSINESS CHECK or MCC
MEMBER ACCOUNT CHARGE, so please plan accordingly. Program for the day is below:

Registration 6:30am to 12:30 pm in the Pro Shop bldg. Shuttle to practice range, open all morning.
Tee times are Course #1 (8:00am), Course #3 (Noon) and Course #2 (1:00pm) all shotgun starts.
Course #1 Players will receive Continental Breakfast served in Oasis Bar until 7:45am (located across
from Locker Rooms)
Buffet lunch in Medinah Ballroom from 11am to 1:30 pm or until Course #1 is finished.
Tee assignments for each course will be made by the tournament committee
Since space is limited to 128 golfers on each course, reservations are accepted upon receipt of application
and payment, PLEASE, NO money, NO reservations.
Appropriate golf attire (no denim) and soft spikes are required
Every player plays their own golf ball with USGA and Medinah local rules in effect
Trophies will be awarded for low individual gross and net on each course and low team net on each course.
Low net scores will be determined using a modified Callaway Handicap system by the Medinah Pro Shop.
Gift Certificates for closest to the Pin & Longest Drive on both courses provided by Pro Shop.
Libations & food start at 5:00 pm in/outside the ballroom with dinner at 6 pm. A short live auction will be
conducted during dinner. #1 players can spend the rest of the day at the pool and are welcome to come and
join us for cocktails and dinner.
