(Pending No Delays) • Texas Eagle scheduled departure time from Mineola is 9:15 A.M. Saturday, March 28th. Please call the Amtrak Station in Longview at 1800-669-8509 for updated arrival time prior to leaving your home. • Scheduled arrival time in Fort Worth is 1:55 P.M. (Pending no delays) HOTEL • Check in at the Hilton Ft Worth Hotel is after 3:00 P.M., check out Sunday, March 29th by Noon • A name badge will be provided to each Wine Fest passenger. These badges will be colored coded for your train car assignment. These badges must be worn on the train at all times (to Fort Worth and on the return trip to Mineola). • Once you arrive in Fort Worth you are free to spend your time as you wish. Scheduled departure time from Fort Worth on Sunday is 2:20 P.M. and approximate arrival time in Mineola is 5:15 P.M. (pending no delays). Please be at the Fort Worth Station by 2:00 P.M Special Note Due to the capacity of the cars we cannot promise seating arrangements. WORTH. Fort Worth has many wonderful and unique places to visit from downtown Sundance Square to the National Historic Stockyards. There are 5 World Class Museums, Bass Performance Hall, Championship Rodeos, National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame, Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame, Cattle Drives, Grapevine Vintage Railroad and the world’s Largest Honky-Tonk, Billy Bob’s. The Main Street Board will be your hosts serving you wonderful wines from some of the finest vineyards. A charge of $135.00 per person includes round trip train tickets, wine tasting, a cheese tray and a souvenir wine glass. Deadline is Friday, February 26th, 2015. Seats are limited and will be made on a first come first serve basis. Ticket reservations will be made as soon as the Main Street office receives your check or payment is made online. We cannot hold reservations without payment. Last year the event sold out before the deadline and we had a waiting list. So be sure to get your check or pay online at Mineolamainstreet.com Please Note: No refunds from Main Street after March 24, 2015. However, you may transfer or resell your seats. Please notify our office if you do. Please provide us with an e-mail address for further information and reminders and one cell phone number for emergencies during the trip. DEADLINE FOR HOTEL AND WINE FEST IS FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 26th, 2015 You must remain on the train car at all times unless instructed by Amtrak. Amtrak scheduled stop in Dallas will allow smokers to step off the train, but you must be back in your seat prior to departure. PARKING – Free parking compliments of the City of Mineola at the Mineola Transportation Plaza parking lot on Front Street and on West Commerce Street in downtown Mineola. HOTEL RESERVATION INFORMATION The hotel is located 2 short blocks from the Ft. Worth Amtrak depot. It is an easy walk going to your right as you exit the station. Luggage with wheels is recommended. You should make your own hotel reservations at the Hilton Ft. Worth Hotel by calling 1-817-870-2100 reservations be sure to ask for the Mineola Amtrak Tour when calling for reservations. Room rate is 129.00 + tax. The Deadline for the hotel booking is Friday, February 26, 2015. Hotel Rooms must be cancelled 72 hours prior to arrival on March 28th. The hotel will charge an early departure fee of $50.00 if you leave before March 29, 2014 This event is a fund-raiser for the Mineola Main Street Program. All profits return to our community for the many special projects the Main Street Board undertakes each year. Designated projects for these funds are incentive, sign and paint grants for historic buildings in the National Register Downtown District awarded in April 2013. Also annual Christmas decorations in the city.
