Position: Projec10 Ambassador
About Projec10
Projec10 is an innovative fundraising and engagement campaign aimed at children aged 10-14
years, challenging participants to model microfinance to give money to microfinance. Start small, Make big, Be the
change. Projec10 is primarily working through schools to run Projec10 as an integrated learning activity for students
from Years 5-8.
Projec10 is affiliated with Opportunity International - a global microfinance organisation providing financial solutions
empowering people living in poverty to transform their lives, their children’s futures and their communities. Projec10
seeks to educate and empower Australian youth to be active in addressing inequality, as well as raise funds for
Opportunity International’s microfinance projects.
The Projec10 campaign challenges youth to start with $10 seed money and do something to make it grow. The profits
from their own mini enterprise (carwash, bake sale, etc) are donated to Opportunity’s Youth Apprentice Program in
Ghana Africa.
In 2015, Monash SEED is partnering with Projec10 so that Monash students can use their skills to empower both
Australian and Ghanaian youth.
