 INVIATION TO QIRATH, HIFDH AND
PUBLIC SPEAKING COMPETITION
Saturday 25th April – Tajweed Workshop
Saturday 09th May - Competition Day
Saturday 23rd of May – Awards Night
The Melbourne Qirath Academy (MQA) would like to invite your
children to participate in the Qiraath/Iqra, Public Speaking and Hifdh
(Memorisation) contest Insha Allah.
The competition will take place over 3 days (Workshop- Sunday 25th
April, 09th of May and Awards night to be held on Saturday, the 23rd of
May 2015).
This age groups will be as follows:
Qirath
Iqra Books
Hifdh
Public
Speaking
Age Group - 4-8
Age Group - 6-9
Age Group 4- 8
Age Group - 9-13
Age Group - 10-13
Age Group 9- 14
Age Group –
6-11
Age Group – 14
and above
Age Group –
12 and above
Age Group – 14 and above
Tajweed Workshop- Sunday 25th April
Must be attended by all participants. Participants entering the Qirath
competition will be coached by Hafiz’s- who will teach participants the
finer points of tajweed to practice and prepare for the final event.
PARTICIPANTS WHO ATTEND THE TAJWEED WORKSHOP WILL
RECEIVE A 10 MARK ADVANTAGE TOWARDS THEIR FINAL
SCORE (This will apply only to Qirath and Hifdh Catagories)

Time: 09:45 AM and 12.15 PM (Snacks will be provided)
