Racine County Line Rifle Club 240th Navy Birthday Invitational Match CMP Vintage Sniper Team Match (Any Center-Fire Rifle Welcome) Date: Satrurday, October 10 2015 Firing will commence at ~ 1pm at the 300 yd. line Fee: $10 Entry: No advanced entry required. Entry is open to all established high power rifle competitors. Register at the 200 yard line between 11:30 and 12:30 (immediately following the morning GSM match – Semper Gumby! Rules: http://thecmp.org/wp-content/uploads/CMPGamesRules.pdf Equipment: Only CMP Vintage Sniper Rifles are allowed for the CMP category. A front bag without channel is allowed – BRING YOUR OWN. The 1907 leather sling, the M-1 web or “as-issue” sling is allowed. Other CMP/NRA High Power equipment such as mats, scopes, etc. allowed. All other rifles will be firing “out-of competition,” bipods allowed. Course of Fire: There will be a 3 minute preparation period and a 5 minute sighting period with unlimited sighting shots from each distance. Each (2) team member team will fire 10 rounds at 300 yards and 10 rounds at 600 yards for record. There will be a 2 minute change-over time between team members at each distance. Awards 2nd Annual Pirate Popper Competition: in honor of our SEALs freeing Captain Phillips with three precise head-shots, a certificate of achievement will be awarded for the following categories (any rifle): Bronze Pirate Popper: Three consecutive ‘Xs’ from three hundred yards Silver Pirate Popper: Three consecutive ‘Xs’ from six hundred yards Gold Pirate Popper: Three consecutive ‘Xs’ from both three & six hundred yards *Note: you will NOT be firing from a rolling, pitching deck… at night. General Info: Competitors will shoot, score and perform pit and other duties as assigned. Eye and hearing protection is mandatory for all competitors during firing. A brimmed hat, eye and hearing protection is also required in the pits, during firing. Use of empty chamber indicator (ECI) is required. Questions?
