The 2014/15 NCRA/ANREC Community Radio Awards
The NCRA/ANREC Awards honours the amazing programming, people, and
activities our sector has to offer and reflects the range and diversity of community
radio across Canada.
Submissions open: MONDAY, MARCH 16th 2015
Deadline for submissions: FRIDAY, MAY 1st 2015 at midnight, PT
*****Please read the submission criteria carefully *****
The Volunteer of the Year, Community Development, Local Talent Development and
Community Radio Legend awards are limited to one nomination per NCRA member station.
Please include a letter of support describing why your station’s nomination should win. Any
other materials to support the nomination are happily accepted, but not required.
For Outstanding Achievement awards, each individual may only apply once as the main
producer (name listed first). They may submit more than one application only if another name
is listed first as the main producer. For shows with more than one contributor, up to four
people may apply with different works but all submissions from a show must be in the same
category. If a program with many producers that each want to submit individually to different
categories, the contributors must jointly decide on a single category to apply to.
Each submission must have a separate entry form. Digital and snail mail applications are
accepted. Each submitted file must follow the naming convention in Annex A. In addition,
please upload all audio in MP3 format.
All digital audio can be submitted through the following acceptable forms: the NCRA Program

length will not be eligible. Electronic signatures on the Entry Form are acceptable forms of
verifying the submission.
