May 31— June 6, 2015 Volume 6, Issue 20 Special points of interest: Read Through the Bible Leesburg Library The following are notes from the May 21, 2015, regular Session meeting of New Life Church. On May 21, 2015, Bradley Myer was accepted to the Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando. It was decided that New Life Presbyterian Church would help with the cost. Jan O’Connor, Bradley Myer and Pat Orman are working on the installation of a playground for our young children. Jerry Hicks and Wanda Keegan have been tasked with changing the sign that is on the hill on the highway. Session has invited Dan Williams, Executive Presbyter/Stated Clerk of the Central Florida Presbytery, along with other members of Presbytery, to attend the June Session meeting. The pictorial directories will be printed soon. Clarence Willette, custodian, will be on sick leave until June 1. Please keep him in your prayers for healing. She was wonderful in taking care of the details during difficult times for the families. We are excited about what God is doing at New Life Presbyterian Church and to further His calling. We are placing an ad in the Newcomer magazine and in programs for the recital, In His Steps, to encourage others to come to New Life. There are approximately seven (7) of our young people who participate in the dance group. Session determined we will not have brunch in June or August. We will have “Christmas in July” with turkey, dressing and all the trimmings. It Happened in June… June 1, 1831—James Clark Ross discovered the Magnetic North Pole. June 2, 1835—P.T.
