Noida Institute of Engineering & Technology, Greater
Noida, established in 2001, is a self financed institute
which offers high standard quality education to students
from all corners of the country. The Institute aims at
recognizing, respecting and nurturing the creative
potential of its students. The institute excels in all the
parameters earmarked by AICTE and Uttar Pradesh
Technical University, Lucknow, UP, India, Govt. of India,
New Delhi.
The Institute offers 9 UG and 14 PG programmes.
Presently, 5500 students are studying in different
courses in the Institute. The Institute is striving high in
terms of innovation and research. In the last one year the
students and faculty members have published 167
research papers in national /international journals of
repute
and
have
presented
86
papers
in
national/international conferences.
ABOUT UPTU, LUCKNOW
Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow was
established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh on 8 th May
2000. Under the University Act, 'Technical Education'
includes programmes of education, research and training in
Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Town Planning,
Pharmacy, Applied Arts & Crafts and such other
programmes that the Central Government may declare in
consultation with All India Council for Technical Education
(AICTE) by notification in Gazette.
The University is affiliating in nature and its jurisdiction
spans the entire state of UP in affiliating B.Tech., M.B.A.,
M.C.A., B.Arch., B. Pharm., M.Pharm., B.H.M.C.T., M.Tech.,
and Ph.D. programmes in 785 colleges/institutions
imparting graduate, postgraduate and doctoral level.
ABOUT ISTE
The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is
a national, professional, non-profit Society registered
under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. First started
in 1941 as the Association of Principals of Technical
Institutions (APTI), it was converted into "Indian Society
for Technical Education" in 1968 with a view to enlarge
its activities to advance the cause of technological
education in the country. ISTE has an Executive Council
at national level. It has active membership of more than
97,286 technical teachers, 5,66,466 student members,
more than 2,345 institutional members (including IITs,
IISC, NITs and other leading technical institutions),
1,166 faculty chapters and 1,280 students’ chapters
throughout the country.
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The objective of the conference is to bring together the
experts from industry and academia to exchange their
innovative ideas and share their experience in the field of
Mechanical Engineering. The conference will eventually
open opportunities for collaboration between industry/
universities/ institutes of National/ International repute
to foster synergic partnerships. It will provide a roadmap
for many people to be part of “Make in India” mission of
Hon’ble Prime Minister of India.

An exhibition will be organized to showcase the latest
developments in industry and academia. The exhibits will
include variety of industrial materials, products,
manufacturing equipments, characterization, testing and
quality control instruments and value added services.
SOUVENIR
A souvenir will be published giving the details of the
program, abstract of the invited lecturers as well as of
technical papers to be presented at CETCME-2015, the
names of sponsors, co-sponsors, advertisements, list of
exhibitors.
PROCEEDINGS
The proceeding of the presented research papers and
keynote lectures will be published in NIET Journal of
Engineering & Technology [ISSN: 2229-5828].
AWARDS FOR BEST PAPERS
Best Research paper (Oral/Poster) award will be given for
novel solutions to industrial problems. The award carries
a Memento and a Certificate for author(s).

conference theme are invited for presentation. An
abstract of maximum 250 words and 6 keywords of the
papers are invited through email at me@niet.co.in.
After acceptance the full length paper should be

CITY OF GREATER NOIDA
Greater Noida is part of Gautam Budh Nagar district in
Uttar Pradesh. It has one of the biggest institutional and
industrial areas in northern India. More than 60 colleges
and 100 MNCs are located in Greater Noida. There are
many places to visit in nearby region. To name a few: Red
Fort, Taj Mahal, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, India Gate,
Qutab Minar, Akshardham Temple –Delhi.
ACCOMMODATION
Limited accommodation is available in the institute’s hostel
at nominal rates. However, accommodation will be arranged
in the Greater Noida hotels also on advance payment basis.
