Instructions for filling up the Form 1. Name : The candidate should enter his/her Name as given in the Class 10th / High School Certificate 2. Father’s Name : The candidate should enter his/her Father’s Name as given in the Class 10th / High School Certificate 3. Date of Birth : The candidate should enter his/her Date of Birth as as given in the Class 10th / High School Certificate 4. The candidate has to choose one of the following groups to which his/her current course belongs to : a. Engineering/Technology/Computers/Sciences b. Economics/Commerce/Management/Humanities The following list may be seen for convenience. However, it may be noted that this is not an exhaustive list: Graduation a. Engineering/Technology/Computers/Sciences : B.Sc., BCA, B.E., B.Tech., B.Arch., B.Pharma, BDS, MBBS b. Economics/Commerce/Management/Humanities B.A., B.A.(<specific discipline>), B.Com, BBA, BMS, LLB etc. Post Graduation a. Engineering/Technology/Computers/Sciences : M.Sc., MCA, M.E., M.Tech., M.Arch., M.Pharma, MDS b. Economics/Commerce/Management/Humanities M.A., M.A.( <specific discipline>), M.Com, MBA, LLM, CA, CS etc. Higher Qualification a. Engineering/Technology/Computers/Sciences : PhD., M.Phil in fields related to Group ‘a’. b. Economics/Commerce/Management/Humanities PhD., M.Phil in fields related to Group ‘b’. 5. For 12th Board/Senior Secondary, Discipline may include Science/Commerce/Arts and further specification. e.g. Science(Medical), Science(Non-Medical) etc. 6. Kindly mention the discipline against the course selected. eg. Course Discipline B.Tech Civil B.Tech Computers B.A. B.A. Maths Economics 7. Three options have been provided to the candidate to indicate Marks/Grade. One of the following options is to be chosen by him/her: i. Percentage: To enter the marks as percentage ii. CGPA (on a scale of 0 to 10): to enter the numeric CGPA marks on a scale of 0 to 10 iii. Grade: to enter the Grade It may be noted that the student is required to enter the net/average percentage/CGPA/Grade scored till date. Incase the course is not mentioned amongst the list of courses, the candidate may kindly choose ‘Others’ and enter Course Discipline against it. 8. The period of internship to be chosen is on a two monthly basis. It may be noted that as per the guidelines ‘The period of Summer Internship shall be at least six weeks and not exceeding two months. Interns not completing the requisite period will not be issued any certificate.’ A candidate can apply online for only one specific period in one form. For another specific period, the candidate may apply again. For example, a candidate can apply for June-July in one form and July-August in another. However, candidates may choose only for the period(s) they will be available and the college/University/Institution will be able to provide a “no-Objection Certificate’. 9. Areas/sector of interest: The candidate can choose maximum three areas of interest. Indication of option does not reserve any right offering the same sector. Allocation of the desired sector will be subject to availability and will be at the discretion of NITI Aayog. 10. At the time of joining, the candidate has to compulsorily provide the copies of 10th / 12th/graduation/post-graduation certificates in addition to the ‘No Objection’ Certificate. At the time of joining, the candidate is also required to get a hard copy/printout of the application submitted at the time of joining. After the physical verification of marksheets/certificates, the candidate will be issued an offer letter. 11. The candidate has to ensure that the information given by him/her is true and to the best of his/her knowledge and nothing has been concealed. 12. The selection of candidates is as per the discretion of NITI Aayog which is final and biding. 13. For complete Internship procedure, kindly refer to the Internship guidelines placed on the website.
