Sub : Notice for Walk-in Interview combined with Computer Skill Test for the posts of
Assistant Manager – HR & Admn, Assistant Manager- Finance & Bio-Medical Engineer.
Ref : Advertisement No. 01 / OSMCL/HR/2014, Dated 15/12/2014.
The provisional list of candidates shortlisted for Walk-in-Interview combined with
Computer Skill Test and the lists of not-short listed candidates for the posts of Assistant
Manager – HR & Admn., Assistant Manager- Finance & Bio-Medical Engineer were published
inviting objections from the candidates and submission of wanting documents. On
consideration of the objections submitted by the candidates and compliances given, the final
list of candidates for the above posts eligible for Walk-in-Interview combined with Computer
Skill test is hereby published and uploaded in the OSMC Ltd. website www.osmcl.nic.in.
Eligible candidates must go through the following instructions/ information
carefully.
1. The schedule of the Walk-in-Interview combined with Computer Skill Test for the post of
Assistant Manager, HR and Administration, Assistant Manager- Finance & Bio-Medical
Engineer are as follows:Forenoon Session
Afternoon Session

Reporting Time :- 8.30 AM

Reporting Time :- 1.00 PM

Certificate Verification :- 9.00 AM

Certificate Verification :- 1.30 PM

Computer Test :- 10.00 AM

Computer Test :- 2.30 PM

Interview :- 11.00 AM onwards

Interview :- 3.30 PM onwards
Date & Reporting Time: Already indicated against the names of the eligible candidates in the
final eligible list uploaded in the OSMC website.
Venue: Office of the Odisha State Medical Corporation Ltd., in front of Ram Mandir, Convent
Square, Bhubaneswar.
Candidates who fail to report on the date and time indicated (scheduled slot)
shall not be considered and no extension of time shall be allowed. No request for
change of date or time slot shall be entertained.

2. Performance of candidates will be assessed on the basis of work experience, subject
knowledge, presentation / communication skill, general aptitude and understanding of critical
issues related to the post / analytical ability etc. as against the TOR as per advertisement no.
01 / OSMCL/HR/2014, Dated 15/12/2014.
3. The Computer Skill Test will be primarily to assess the candidate’s familiarity with basic
programmes like MS office (Word/Excel.etc). It will also test the problem solving ability /
analytical ability of the candidate based on the practical issues related to the concerned
advertised posts. In case of the candidates for the post of Assistant Manager- Finance, the
candidates will be tested for knowledge in computer accounting packages as per eligibility
criteria.
4. The following original documents must be mandatorily produced for verification.
a. Original certificates and mark sheets of all examinations starting from HSC up to the
qualifying examination as per advertisement. Candidates must ensure that they bring all
(year-wise / semester-wise) mark sheets of the qualifying examination.
b. Minimum 3 year post-qualification experience certificate/s in respect of the posts
of Assistant Manager – HR & Admn, Assistant Manager- Finance and 5 years of
experience certificate/s in respect of the post of Bio-Medical Engineer as per
advertisement. Relevant experience will be counted up to 15.01.2015, the last date
of submission of online application forms. The period and nature of job responsibility
should be clearly ascertained from the experience certificates. Offer / joining /
resignation / promotion / confirmation / increment letters / pay slips will not be accepted
as substitute of experience certificate as the period of experience can not be
ascertained from the said documents.
c. In case the candidate is presently working in an organization and can not produce the
experience of the current organization, a certificate of the competent authority
mentioning the period from which the candidate is working in the organisation and the
nature of job responsibility has to be produced. It is to be noted that the total
experience of the candidate should be of minimum 3 years or 5 years as the case may
be.
d. Proof of having HR specialization for the post of Assistant Manager, HR and Admn.:
The documents to be submitted in this regard must clearly show that the candidate has
Human Resource Management (HR) as a specialization subject.
e. Authentic document issued by the competent authority indicating conversion from
grade to percentage for those who have obtained marks under grade system.
f. Authentic document indicating AICTE / UGC / any other statutory authority’s approval
of the institute / course for the period in which the candidate has pursued the course.
g. Caste certificate, in case of SC / ST / SEBC candidates.
h. Original residence / nativity / domicile certificates issued by the competent authority
i. Proof of having passed Odia up to 7th standard
j. Three latest colour passport size photographs.
k. Proof of identity like Voter Id card, PAN card. Driving license, Adhar card, Passport etc.
l. Physical disability certificate, if applicable.
The candidates also must mandatorily bring with them two photo copies of the above
mentioned documents.

5. Candidates who fail to produce any of the original documents as mentioned above
shall not be allowed to appear in the walk-in Interview. It is reiterated that candidates
should be careful to bring all the documents as mentioned above in order to avoid
forfeiture of their claim to appear in the Walk-in-Interview.
6. Any instance of submission of forged / manipulated documents either at the time of
submission of online application form or at the time of certificate verification shall be dealt with
seriously. Such candidates shall not be allowed to appear in the Walk-in Interview and will
also be liable for appropriate legal / criminal action as deemed proper.
7. Candidates should take care that if any evidence regarding the ineligibility of any candidate
if detected at a later stage, shall lead to disqualification.
8. Any query relating to recruitment have to be made in the email address of the
Corporation i.e. rec.osmcl@nic.in and shall be replied through email only. No personal /
telephonic communication regarding the recruitment will be entertained. Any
canvassing and attempt by the candidate to influence the process of selection will lead
to rejection of candidature.
9. OSMC shall resort to verification of documents from the educational institutions and
employer organizations directly as per requirement. Any act of fraudulent practice, if detected
in future will be viewed adversely & legal action will be initiated.
10. No claim for any cost reimbursement shall be entertained. Candidates must make their
arrangement to appear the Interview.
11. Odisha State Medical Corporation Ltd. authorities reserve the right to postpone / cancel
the Walk-in-Interview at any stage of the selection process.
