The WEA is committed to offering exciting and challenging courses to students of all levels and incomes. Hence the WEA offers its courses at subsided rates for fee payers but *FREE to those on specified means tested benefits - Please check our website for eligibility. These courses are both progressive and designed to involve both practical and investigating rigour within a processes that does need time to fully develop. Basket Case Willow Weaving Baskets and Bits - C3836696 (Weekend Course) 21st and 22nd March 2015 - 10:00am - 5:00pm 2015 Full Permaculture Design course across two full separate weeks– PART ONE —starting Saturday 6th .June - Friday 12th June - 7 full day sessions 9am start total 45 hrs £139.50 or free * PART TWO— starting Saturday 11th July—17th July 7 full day sessions 9ams start total 45 hrs per week – cost £139.50 or free* Venue - Offshoots Permaculture Project, Towneley Hall, Burnley, Lancashire, BB11 3RQ Tutor - Victoria Woods The course is an intensive practical and academic course that runs across two blocks of one week offshoots permaculture site in Burnley. The weeks are divided into a part one section ,- June , followed by a further week in July .This is in order for the students to engage in the practical opportunity of their own permaculture designs and bring them forward to work on in the second week. There will be some visits outside of the site which a small payment maybe required plus if you wish to purchase a certificate from the Permaculture Association this can be done via the tutor for an additional cost .This course is open to all levels and no previous experience necessary. This course is also the pre course towards the Permaculture Assc diploma. These classes are run by professional contemporary artists and crafts people. The classes are open to beginners or those who wish to extend and challenge themselves.
