RESERVATIONS are required for most programs.
Call the number listed with each park to make reservations.
Reservations will be accepted starting two weeks prior to each program for
all facilities.

Family Adventures: These programs are
usually ideal for children ages 5 and up.

unique abilities to hunt and survive in the wild.

cool collection of nature stamps and your own imagination. We will
show you how to make the most unique prints for your shirt. Please

Step back in time as you tour the Main House of the South Side Sportsmen’s
Club. A docent will discuss the history of the tavern and the high society
Sportsmen’s Club that now makes up Connetquot River State Park Preserve.

Sit down with Eric Kunz of Seemore Carnivorous Plants as he reveals how to put
nature’s bug zapper to work in your own home. Plant and raise your very own Venus Fly Trap or Cape Sundew in a pot to take home!

Join us for a kid friendly introduction to dragonflies and damselflies
indoors, followed by a hike in search of these beautiful and delicate
insects.

It comes from right below your feet in aquifers!
We will use a seine net to discover the animals living in the shallow
waters of the Nissequogue River. We may catch minnows or even
shrimp! Bring sunscreen, a towel, and shoes appropriate for
water and mud.
