If you are asking yourself any of these questions, then TEEP@NCCU
is for you! Our program aims to emphasize and explore the richness
of the rural primary education in its multivalent forms, from tradition
to modernity and beyond.

We are recruiting 10 foreign and 10 domestic students, upmost as reviewed, from all
languages and academic backgrounds as our team members. We will enforce our
locally-oriented plans, combining the broad range of methods and ideas across universities
and institutions that collaborate with primary schools in the suburbs and hope to undertake
public engagement work.
Suggested themes are listed below, but proposals for contribution should by no means be
limited to these.

WHAT DO YOU DO?
Choose at least 10 DAYS during JUNE - JULY
It looks something a bit like this: Go > Involve > Share > Submit > Win
1. You are assigned to a team which is highly related to your interest and concern.
2. GO and spend at least 10 days (continuously or discontinuously, 5 days per month within
2 months) observing and INVOLVING yourself in the study and life of the designated
school and its neighboring area.
3. SHARE your experience with others by uploading your articles and photos to your blog or
social network. It is a great chance for you to tell people about the innovation of education
in Taiwan by using YOUR OWN LANGUAGES.
4. SUBMIT 1 group report and 2 film videos (10 minutes of each, at least) by August 31.
You can be really creative!! We will follow you as BIG fans!
5. WIN the competition! In our conference which will be held in December 2015, three best
visual productions, voted by the project committee and other team members, will receive
a grant of NT$ 15,000 dollars/each team and be invited to a press interview.
Don’t hesitate! We want you to show your initiative and ingenuity, unleash your creativity,
and get rewarded for it.
HOW CAN WE SUPPORT YOU?
We are offering NT$ 8,000 dollars/per month, maximum 2 months for the 1st session, to each
foreign student member. The subsidy is given to cover your travel expenses during your visit
to the rural schools. Don’t worry if you have never done anything like this before. We will
organize workshops and provide resources to help you run your project and win the prize.
