END OF ADDENDUM 4
School District 24J complies with provisions of the various civil rights laws, such as the Fair Employment Practices Act,
Title IX Regulations, and section 504 of PL 93.112 in employment and educational programs and activities.
It is the intent of Salem Keizer School District (SKSD) to enter into a contractual agreement with a
single or multiple HVAC contractor(s) to install cooling systems for several schools. The general
scope of the work would be to install ductless or ducted split system cooling / heat pumps systems in
up to 55 classrooms. The installations would be released for construction in packages of no more
than 11 systems per installation package. These systems would be at multiple sites. The goal is to
have all the systems installed before the end of summer 2015.
The equipment will be manufactured by Daikin supplied by Oregon Air Reps in Lake Oswego
Oregon. SKSD has secured pricing for the system types that may be installed. SKSD intends to have
the Contractor purchase the equipment using the negotiated price agreement. SKSD is asking for
pricing to complete the first grouping of these installations.
