PHM does not have obsolescence risk on technology; if a better device comes out, PHM will use it. PHM is not focused on acquisitions of companies that depend upon personal relationships to keep customers. The patients rely upon a business process, not a personal relationship, to receive monitoring and preventive care. PHM will focus on established and profitable private companies that have already succeeded in their niche. PHM will not have to cut costs or improve operational efficiencies to realize accretion to earnings.
