Thursday Regular Class
Our regular class happens every Thursday from 6pm-9pm (with a 10 minute break) at our studio on Ngong Road, right
opposite Nairobi Baptist Church. This Thursday regular class is usually 15-20 students.
During this beginner course, every student shall be given a chance to accompany one of our photographer teachers to an
enriching on-job assignment. These practical sessions could be a wedding, event, corporate shoot, studio shoot etc.
Special & Personalized Classes
For students who cannot make it to the Thursday class, we have a special arrangement for much smaller classes during the
week- usually Tuesday or Wednesday afternoons. This is a custom class that is purely based on special students’ needs
regarding timing and availability.
We also do personalized classes for photographers who feel they only need to strengthen specific areas like Photoshop,
Studio Lighting, Accessories, Composition etc.
Field Trip/Excursion
The date for this trip, usually on a weekend, is decided once the class is constituted. Students take a roadtrip to a specific
destination and take photos during the journey, at the venue and on their way back.
We also encourage students to take short excursions to various places for sport, city scapes, street photography, KICC
rooftop, Karura Forest, Athi River, Safari Rally, and such other interesting practical experiences. This is mostly an initiative of
the students- but the school can assist in organizing and getting access where possible.
