Excursion to GRSE Waterfalls/Ile aux Cerfs on “Bateaux Pirates”
The Public Officers’ Welfare Council is proposing to organise an excursion to GRSE
Waterfalls and Ile aux Cerfs on board “Bateaux Pirates” on Sunday 09 August 2015.
2. The departure from Trou D’eau Douce will be at 09 30 hrs, sailing via Touessrok Hotel
and then proceeding to the GRSE waterfalls. Relax time will be at the Ile aux Cerfs beach. Back to
Trou d’eau Douce at 15 30 hrs. Participants are advised to bring along sunscreen, sunglasses,
swimwear and towels. The costs of tickets (including bus transport, access to the boats, lunch,
refreshments and live entertainment on board) are Rs.925 per adult, Rs.700 per child aged 5 to 11
years and free of charge for child aged 0 to 4 years.

Please note that the buses will leave from the respective collecting points at the exact time
indicated above. Kindly note that we will leave from Ile aux Cerfs at 15 00 hrs to reach Trou d’eau
douce by 15 30 hrs. Latecomers will have to make their own transport arrangements in both
cases.
4. Public officers interested to join the trip are requested to fill in the enclosed form and
submit same with photocopy of recent payslip and birth certificate for child under 12 yrs and
the appropriate amount to the Council.
5. Cancellation should be made at least one week prior to the date of excursion. Kindly
note that refund will only be considered in exceptional cases (illness or death of close relative),
supported by documentary evidence.
6. Payment will be received on a “first come first served basis” at the office of the Public
Officers’ Welfare Council, 6th Floor, ATOM House, 16, Royal Street, Port Louis, on Saturday 27
June from 09 30 to 15 00 hours and on weekdays as from Monday 29 June 2015 during office
hours.
