Trafalgar Square Safe Viewing Area LLCP has been working to move the Trafalgar Square Safe Viewing Area, however the suggested changed to the VIP area is not permitted as a build it not possible due to weight loading limitations. If moved down from the terrace into the square then it would be more difficult to access. Also moving from over the terrace steps may mean a reduction in size. RA recognised that in previous year the edge of the space had been a concern, he assured the CAB that if the Safe Viewing Area were to remain in that location that it would definitely be made safe. If the space stays on the steps the Westminster and GLA will not permit for it to be covered as this would obstruct the view of the stage which would cause cluster of people trying to get round/see round that may become unsafe. LLCP will plan to provide a 5m x 5m covered area on the terrace with a screen should the main space remain over the terrace steps. 7. Pride in London a. Finance Report SW provided a verbal report on the finances. A number of sponsors are coming on board with more looking likely. b.
