Ron Kronholm COA
FCAM member Ron Kronholm received a Certificate of Appreciation from
KVMA President John Daley for his efforts in getting permission for indoor
flying at the KVCC in Fairfield. KVCC is an ideal indoor flying venue and is
used weekly by members of FCAM and KVMA.
While indoor flying at the school is finished for the season, we are hopeful of
receiving permission for fall flying. Good job, Ron!

Photo of my new Model Aero Polaris Ultra
Test flights from snow went fine but looking forward to float flying! This
version is molded foam and 115% of my older sheet foam version. Uses a
2200 3S Lipo instead of a 1300 3S Lipo in the smaller version.

F. C. A. M. MEETING MINUTES
APRIL 24, 2015
Meeting was called to order at 7:02PM by President Lew Gordon.
11 members were present.
The last Meeting report submitted by Ron Sarner was accepted as published.
The Treasurer’s report was submitted by Francis Bedard and accepted.
Old Business: 1:Frank Bedard announced that the 4 tables for Pease field has been completed
at a cost of $218.20 totaling with $100 less than estimated!
2:Lew Gordon announced that Pease field remains closed due to drying. If the
Pease Field is closed for the scheduled May 9 fly-in, the location will be changed
to Whispering Pines. All Members shall be notified via email should this occur.
3:The field roller issue remains to be determined.
New Business:
1:Lew Gordon made a presentation of the new Club polo shirts. No price has
been established yet. The logo appears to be a Cessna 172 with F.C.A.M. and,
individual colors will be available. The shirts will be distributed as pre-paid.
2:Lew wants to order 6 gray and 6 vented hats estimated at $8.00 -$10.00.
Frank Bedard suggested that all shirts be the same color to identify membership.
3:A discussion ensued with Wayne White suggesting that a larger F.C.A.M. letter
print along with the Club logo and blue banner appear on the shirt back. It was
also noted that a shirt pocket is preferred. Wayne also suggested that optional
colored shirts should be made available.
4:It was voted and passed that the official Club shirts would be blue.
5:It was voted and passed that the unused $100 set aside total for the table
construction be transferred to the Tractor account which makes the Tractor
account up to date.
6:Lew Gordon expressed thanks to all who participated in the recent
Owl’s Head Transportation display and demonstration event.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:26PM
