Dinghy Options for both PT 11 and PT Spear
F11 Water-tight hatch kit, ; $69.00
This kit is used on the foredeck of the nesting dinghy and
on the back seat of the non nesting PT Spear. It's shape is Isosceles
trapezoid. Kit includes the machined Okoume hatch lid with gasket
groove, machined Okoume coaming, machined Okoume
stiffener, gasket, 5 Delrin turndogs, s/s fasteners, kevlar tether.
Instructions are included in builder's manual that comes with
your kit.
SC-SM Water tight hatch kit: $69.00 See SC-SM
This kit is used on the front deck of the PT Spear one-piece dinghy. It is
rectangular in shape. Hatch opening size: 7 3/4” x 11 1/2”. Lid size: 9 1/4” x 13”.
Kit includes the machined Okoume hatch lid with gasket groove, machined Okoume
coaming, machined Okoume stiffener, gasket, 4 Delrin(TM) turndogs, s/s fasteners, kevlar
tether. Instructions are included in builder's manual that comes with your kit.
DBC11 Daggerboard trunk cap kit: $51.25
This G10, low profile cap is stiff and water-tight. Kit includes the
machined G10 cap with gasket groove, mahogany stiffener, gasket, 2
Delrin turndogs and risers, s/s/ fasteners, 1 plastic washer, 1 plastic washer
with tether tab.
GACO(TM) oarlocks: $35.00
These lightweight, super tough oarlocks come from Australia.
They feature a smaller dimension pin than most oarlocks; a feature we
like for this dinghy, as well as being light and tough. Includes 2 oarlocks
and 4 sockets so you can install 2 rowing positions. (for trim, not for
simultaneous rowers) (Sockets shown in next photo)
OLR Mahogany Oarlock risers: $38.80
These risers bring the oar height up to a preferable height
for comfort. They are machined mahogany, multi dimensional,
drilled, and shaped to fit the GACO oarlock sockets. Kit includes
4 riser blocks. (GACO sockets shown in photo)
FB11 Mahogany foot-brace kit: $41.00
8 low profile milled and routered mahogany footbraces that
get epoxied in desired position. A reference pattern for placement
is included with the dinghy base kit.
RB11 Rubber Bumper: $169.95
Our custom extruded, EPDM, light gray, continuous bumper
section glues onto the 1” flat face of the dinghy gunwale. Other
bumper options typically require hundreds of fasteners. Our
solution eliminates the problems so many fasteners can create. For
the nesting dinghy, the bumper is pre-cut in 3 sections. We include
the hypalon glue kit for the USA and Canada. Other countries must
source the hypalon or industrial contact cement locally. SEE BUMP for per ft info.
Options Exclusive to the Nesting dinghy
CBS11 Cedar Back seat: $35.80
Oiled cedar seat shaped to fit between the aft air chambers and
removable for nesting. It is held in place by tension on a bunji cord. Kit
includes the finished seat, bunji cord, glue on carbon eyestrap.
L11 Leather chafe pads:$22.50
When the nesting dinghy nests, contact between the 2 halves
occurs in 4 locations. 4 laser cut and scored chafe leathers,
strategically glued in place, reduce 'ding' & chafe potential at these
contact points. A free pattern to cut your own is also available.
Dinghy Sailing Options
F11 Foils Kit: $550.00
Our kick up rudder & daggerboard kit is an excellent dinghy foils kit. Designed
with NACA .012 foil sections for really good performance, these
foils are machined out of 1/2” Okoume plywood in halves, and
professionally glued/vacuum bagged together in our shop. Kit
includes machined and glued Okoume foils, machined Okoume,
kick-up assembly parts, fiberglass, pintles, gudgeons, spring clip,
knob, fasteners, instructions.
T11 Tiller and Hiking Stick: $60.00
The tiller we offer is from Sapele Mahogany, tapered on 3
sides with a shaped end. This work is tricky and requires a jig so
this is a nice head start for the builder. All you have to do is oil it.
The hiking stick is cut to length good for self-steering, with
chamfered edges and the attachment hole pre-drilled.
SR11 Sailing rig: $1,350.00
Our dinghy sailing rig is designed for ease of use and
great performance in a range of conditions. The 2 part carbon
mast and carbon boom, together with a 54 sq ft, luff sleeve,
sail, designed by Sandy Goodall, come in a custom carry bag
and weigh 13 lbs all together. The rig includes Harkin
hardware, all control lines, and comes ready for immediate
use.
PT Skiff Motor Boat kit
18.5ft fuel efficient motorboat kit; $4,038.00 + shipping
plus options listed below. (“cash based” payments receive a 2%
discount.)

Skiff Options:
Glass cloth kit: $467.00
There are three different weights of cloth used on this boat. We offer the appropriate amounts (128 feet
total) of 4, 6, and 8.8 oz cloth, chosen for compatibility with epoxy. (with the F81 finish)
The 8.8oz cloth, (50ft in this kit) Hexell #7725, was developed for composite aircraft construction and
has excellent properties. Additionally, 3 yards of peel ply also included in this kit.
Fillet Mix: Gallon tub (-1.147 LBS) for $58.50
Our blend of WEST SYSTEM fillers in a tub is enough for all the primary fillets. We do not use wood
dust in this mix. The mix details are included in the manual for those who wish to mix their own.
Watertight Hatch kit: $73.80 SEE PTS-H
Mahogany Rub rails: $255.00
We provide a kit of the appropriate section with scarfs cut and ready to assemble. We will provide a
short length of the rub rail free of charge, if you want to mill your own. It is not a rectangular section.
Machined Slotted floor Grates: $276.00
CNC Machined from Lloyds grade 12mm Okoume plywood. No assembly! Just finish them and install.
Note:A paper pattern is included with the base kit. Instructions are part of the manual whether you buy
the grates kit from us or choose to mill your own stock.
Stainless steel & Plexi glass windshield Plans: $40.00
We now sell just the drawings for this shield, and believe that builders will get a better deal by having it
custom made locally.

SCAMP & Small craft water-tight hatch kits. WA residents, sales tax
applies.
These hatches differ from their plastic counter parts in that they are actually water tight.
This is achieved with the combination of a very rigid lid and coaming, the right gasket,
and really slick machined Delrin turn-dogs. The hatches are a bit of work to install and
finish but the hatch kits come with a very complete photo manual and the result is an
easy to use, flush, and good-looking hatch. The kits include the machined high quality
Okoume plywood parts, (coaming, stiffener and lid), gasket, turn-dogs, washers,
fasteners, kevlar tether, and manual. These are rectangular hatches. The coamings & lid
stiffeners are cut from 12mm plywood. The lids are cut from 9mm plywood. Custom
lids of different thickness are available upon request.
SC-LG Large hatch kit: $79.00 + shipping.
The Large hatch opening size; 8 1/2” x 15 1/2”. Lid
size: 10” x 17”
SC-SM Small hatch kit: $69.00 + shipping.
The Small hatch opening size: 7 3/4” x 11 1/2”. Lid size:
9 1/4” x 13”.

Designed for use on the PT Skiff motor boat: Includes 12
machined turn-dogs & washers, fasteners, and 10ft of 1/4inch
round gasket. (surgical tubing)We do not sell the wood hatches in
this size due to the fact that they are cut from the files of the PT
Skiff and not independently.
Additional small craft options:
D-TD Delrin Turn dogs: $5.50 each
..or $30.00 for a pack of six + postage. I usually ship these in a small
priority box for $6.00. These are machined, not cast. The price
reflects the handwork involved in finishing them. Use 10/24 (3/16”
diameter) screws. Turn dog total length = 1 7/16”
C-ES Carbon Eyestraps: $9.50 each
...or $49.00 for a six pack + postage. I usually ship these in a small priority
box for $6.00
Single eye-strap(for easily holding two 1/4” lines) with overall Length of
2”. We make these by hand in our shop. Clear finished carbon (black).
Edges are eased to reduce chafe potential. These are glue on for small boats
as tie downs, especially where you want to avoid using fasteners.
Our unique bumper system by the foot. $5.65/ft
Eliminating the need for hundreds of fasteners, this bumper glues on with 2 part hypalon glue,
to a 1” flat surface. Non marking EPDM gray rubber, ‘high sweeping’, “D” section, is
designed by, and custom extruded for Port Townsend Watercraft. . Glue sold separately.
Hypalon glue kit: $33.00 + shipping

Suitable for the nesting & one-piece 11ft dinghy kits, uses WEST SYSTEM®
105 resin and 207 Special Clear Hardener. This kit is enough to get you well into the
project but for less experienced with epoxy, may be short for completing the boat. Kit
includes: 2x 105 B resin ~gallon, 2x 207 SB Special Clear Hardener, 1x mini-pump set
#300, 406-7 (5.5oz)colloidal silica, 407-15 (12oz)Low-Density Filler, 404-15
(15oz)High-Density Filler, 410-2 (2oz)Microlight® Faring Filler, 12 syringes. 807-12

This kit uses fast and slow hardeners of a 5:1 ratio. Kit includes 2x 105C resin
with fast(205C) & slow(206C) hardener, 2x mini-pump set, 406 5.5oz colloidal
silica,410 5oz Microlight® Faring Filler, 404 High-Density Filler and 407 Low-Density
Filler, 12 syringes, 2 spreaders.

How to order
PT WATERCRAFT does not generally use a “shopping cart”. We prefer to “meet” you and make sure
you get everything you want and need in the best way possible.
Ordering kits from PT Watercraft starts with choosing an order form below. Kits and most of our
products require shipping quotes so we will contact you after receiving your request. Some smaller
items where we can set a fixed shipping rate, can be purchased by selecting the Buy Now button where
available on the website. Special orders and wholesale requests can be included in the note section of
the form or you can email or call us.
Payment:
Credit/debit cards: We accept most credit cards (preferably Visa & MC) by phone or we can send a
Pay Pal invoice for secure payment. You do not need a Pay Pal account to pay the invoice.
Check/money orders:inUS Dollars. USA and Canada, reward yourself with a 2% discount on the
merchandise total. (excluding shipping)
Sales Tax: Washington residents must include local sales tax. If you plan to pick up your kit at our
warehouse, Port Townsend sales tax is 9%.
International: Bank wire, Certified check or Money order mailed express delivery, all in US Dollars,
or credit card, are accepted. International orders usually include currency exchange fees or bank wire
fees.These can be very high and crating for overseas is labor and material intensive. Discounts are
discussed on a case by case basis.
Deposits: $500 or more for kits. An order is CONFIRMED upon receipt of payment/deposit, and
shipped after full payment clears.
Shipping: Dinghy kits and hatch kits ship via UPS small package. The PT Skiff ships UPS Freight.
International kits have been shipping UPS Air-freight at competitive rates. Manuals, posters and other
small items typically ship USPS First Class or Priority Mail.
