Due to expansion the Company is looking to recruit an additional SHEQ advisor. This role will support the SHEQ team in the delivery of an efficient and timely service to a fast paced business with a rapidly increasing staff base. Focusing on health and safety, the successful candidate will need to be commercially aware, able to demonstrate an ability to manage complexity whilst supporting the needs of a rapidly growing business and quickly respond to change. Key Responsibilities: The HSE Advisor will assist in the maintenance and continuous improvement of our HSE Systems whilst supporting line managers to deliver processes and services that comply with appropriate Regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Implement, monitor, advise and promote CWind’s HSE sections of Integrated SHEQ Management System. Undertaking and reviewing task risk assessments and developing safe systems of work. This will be undertaken in consultation with the Operation Managers and Fleet department. Carrying out observational monitoring of health and safety practices on site, including behavioural monitoring, contractor monitoring. Undertaking and monitoring of site / project emergency drills, for example emergency evacuation drills, fire drills, first aid drills, rescue and working at height drill. Communication of relevant safety, health and environmental information to the project teams, Assist in the development and drive safety, health and environmental initiatives. Assist in maintaining health, safety and quality databases, for example the non-conformities database, accident/near miss register Ensure that all accidents and near misses are recorded and investigated. This will include the collection of information and evidence in a timely manner and ensuring that this is recorded correctly. Conduct SHE Audits of project sites (Offshore and Onshore) Conduct Internal Audits of processes and departments Liaise with clients on safety, health and environmental related items. Liase with regulatory bodies and external accreditation bodies. TechIOSH (Minimum) with up to date CPD. Minimum 3 years HSE experience and a minimum of 6 overall Construction / Engineering experience. IRCA approved internal auditor A team player, with excellent interpersonal skills. An influencer with the ability to communicate at all levels. Should possess good computer skills and have ability to utilise Microsoft based office systems i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality management systems to OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 standard.
