NAPPY COLLECTIVE
What is the nappy collective?
The Nappy Collective is a volunteer run, community based and not for profit organisation established to
collect leftover and unused disposable nappies and redistribute them to organisations that support families
in need. The nappies are redistributed to over 75 organisations that support homeless mothers, victims of
domestic violence or young families.
Nappy donation points:
Currently there are over 200 donation points around Australia that work together to collect the 226,000
nappies that have been generously donated thus far. Locally the office of MP Vicki Ward (located at 718
Main Road, Eltham) serves as a drop off point for nappies that will be distributed back throughout our
community and give local families much needed support. Any contribution, however large or small, is
greatly appreciated. For more information about how you can get involved and donate visit
http://thenappycollective.com/ or contact Vicki Ward’s office on 9439 1500.
