VALCO reserves the right to modify or alter any specification or color without notice or obligation to modify any product previously purchased FURTHER INFORMATION In North America only www.valcobaby.com 1800 610 7850 In Canada only 416 488 1900 © Copyright VE 2007 Remove Bumper Bar or Housing A Bumper Bar Nylon Plug The following instructions are for the Valco Baby TriMode Models: for Use with Graco single/twin car seat adaptor: A If you haven’t already done so, remove the front bar or plugs from the nylon housings on either side of the stroller frame by pressing each inner ‘release button’ and lifting the front bar or plug from the housing. press Insert the Adaptor B B Insert the car seat adaptor connecting pieces into the nylon housings. Be sure that the bar release button is securely in the housing. Secure the Adaptor C C Located on the car seat adaptor support frame are two sets of tether straps. The first set (as shown in Figure C) rest on the foot rest of the stroller. Adjust these straps so they wrap underneath the foot rest of the stroller. Secure by inserting the male clip into the female end. Ensure these straps are as tight as possible. To secure the Twin Adaptor see Page 3 ‘Secure the Twin Adaptor’. 1 Insert the Car Seat Secure the Car Seat D E D Position the Car Seat so that the infant is facing the handlebar of the stroller. Line up the Car Seat to the Adaptor frame ensuring that the Car Seat latch (red lever on back of car seat) rests under the Adaptor frame. E Once the car seat is in position, take the second set of tether straps and place them through the sides of the car seat, (where a seat belt would go) and connect via the buckle. Ensure that the strap is tight and securely fastened by pulling on the free end of the strap. TO REMOVE THE CAR SEAT: Detach the straps (reversing the process outlined in E) and lift up the RED LEVER located on the back of the car seat. Remove Adaptor F F To remove the adaptor: Detach the straps secured beneath the footrest. Locate the two nylon release buttons that sits below the frame at each side of the stroller. Press the release button and lift the adaptor bar out of the nylon housings. 2 Secure the Twin Adaptor to secure twin car seat adaptor: C 1 3 2 1 C 2 Secure the Twin Adaptor 4 replace step c in single adaptor instructions with the following two steps C-1 and C-2: C 1 Located on the Car Ceat Adaptor support frame are two sets of tether straps. The first set (as shown in Figure C-1- 1 )rest on the foot rest of the stroller. To secure these straps; Lift up the footrest flap (Figure C-1- 2 ) and insert the Male clip through the slit in the stroller frame directly above the footrest (Figure C-1- 3 ). C 2 Wrap the Female clip around the closest side of the stroller, meeting the Male clip underneath the footrest of the stroller. Insert the Male clip into the Female clip, and secure. continue to follow the single graco car seat adaptor instructions step d to f. For Use with Peg Perego single/twin car seat Adaptor: Remove Bumper Bar or Housing A Bumper Bar Nylon Plug A press If you haven’t already done so, remove the front bar or black plugs from the nylon housing at either side of the stroller frame by pressing each inner “release button” and pulling the front bar/plug upward. 3 Insert the Adaptor Insert the Car Seat Secure the Car Seat B Insert the car seat adaptor connecting B pieces into the nylon housings. Be sure that the bar release button is securely in the housing. C D C Position the Car Seat so the infant is facing the handlebar of the stroller. There are three bars on the adaptor frame corresponding to the three slots in the bottom of the car seat. Line these up, and push the car seat until it locks into the frame. D Once the car seat is in position, thread the tether straps through the sides of the car seat, (where a seat belt would go) and connect the buckle. HINT: You may have to unsnap the snaps on the side pockets of the car seat to locate the slots. Ensure that the strap is tight and secure by pulling on the free end of the strap. 4 Remove Adaptor TO REMOVE THE CAR SEAT: Detach the straps (reversing the process outlined in D) and lift up the car seat to unlock it from the frame. E E Remove Bumper Bar or Housing A To remove the car seat adaptor: Locate the two nylon release buttons that sit below the frame at each side of the stroller. Press the release button and lift the adaptor bar out of the nylon housings for Use with britax single/twin car seat Adaptor: A If you haven’t already done so, remove Bumper Bar the front bar or plugs from the nylon housings on either side of the stroller frame by pressing each inner ‘release button’ and lifting the front bar or plug from the housing. Nylon Plug press Insert Car Seat Adaptor B Insert the car seat adaptor connecting B pieces into the nylon housings. Be sure that the bar release button is securely in the housing. TWIN ADAPTOR HINT: When positioning the adaptor, make sure that the raised end of the adaptor bar will be resting in the seat portion of the stroller when connected. 5 Insert Carseat C C Position the Car Seat so that infant is facing the handlebar of the stroller. Line up the Car Seat to the Adaptor frame ensuring that the Car Seat latch has clicked on the Adaptor frame. D Once the car seat is in position, thread Secure the Car Seat the tether straps through the sides of the car seat, (where a seat belt would go) and connect the buckle. Ensure that the strap is tight and secure by pulling on the free end of the strap. Remove Adaptor E E To remove the car seat adaptor: Locate the two nylon release buttons that sit below the frame at each side of the stroller. Press the release button and lift the adaptor bar out of the nylon housings. 6 WARNINGS Your child’s safety is your responsibility ……… • Check all parts for breakage or fatigue before use. Discontinue immediately if any part is found to be damaged or broken. • Do not use this Car Seat Adaptor until you have read and understood all of the instructions. • WARNING: Please be aware that this instruction manual is strictly for the Valco Car Seat Adaptor. Please know and understand the Car Seat manufacturers instructions before use. • This adaptor is compatible for use with Graco/Peg Perego/Britax car seats accordingly. DO NOT use with any other brand. • Only use this adaptor with the correct model Valco Trimode Single or Twin Trimode Stroller accordingly. • Never leave your child unattended. • ALWAYS check that the Car Seat Adaptor bar, as well as the Car Seat, are securely fastened. • ALWAYS ensure that child is clear of all moving parts when adjusting the stroller. • WARNING: Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Make sure that the child is harnessed into the Car Seat using the manufacturer’s instructions, at all times. • This product is intended for use with infants whose Weight is: 5 - 30 lbs and Height: under 30 inches. Excessive weight may cause a hazardous unstable condition to exist. • Parcels, accessory items or both that are placed on the unit may cause the unit to become unstable. • Do not use accessories not designed for your stroller as they may be unsafe. • This product is intended for domestic use only.
